Who's hangin' out to know if I've had some 'results' from eating prunes, and drinking prune juice?
Well.... I have to say it, there has been NO RESULTS!
So, on to the next option, Kiwifruit juice. I took some last night, expecting to bloody hate it, as I don't like Kiwifruit. But, it was rather yum!
I now await any 'results' from that. lol
Now, back to today. I am picking up a Maori Taonga and Wahakura Koiwi for my friend Sharon, and taking them up to her son Samuel, who lives in Auckland. They need both for Sharon's Mum's funeral later on in the month.
The Wahakura Koiwi is to hold the earthly remains of Sharon's deceased twin sister, who died in infancy. This much loved sister is being buried with her Mother after 57 years, when Sharon brings her Mum back from Australia for burial.
Taonga = A treasured possession.
Wahakura Koiwi = a casket.
I am picking up the Taonga, a Kiwi Feathered Cloak, to be draped over the Wahakura Koiwi. This is a very special cloak that is used many times within Maori Whanau (family).
Samuel will take both items down to Taupo later on this month for the funeral of his Nana.
So, while I go and pick up these items, Stew is going to be watching a rugby game on the telly.
Once that game is over, we will leave for Auckland. I hope to visit Sylvia Park after delivering the Taonga/Koiwi. I'm still working on finishing our Christmas shopping, so might find a few things at Sylvia Park.
10.30 am, and I have picked up the precious things and have them ready to go. Stew is still watching rugby, there's about half an hour to go... then we can head off to Auckland.
BTW, the All Blacks are behind in the game right now. Stew said our guys are not playing very well. 😖💩
Quarter of an hour to go in the game, and our guys have redeemed themselves with two more tries. There is still time to have a different outcome of course, nothing is won till the last second. But fingers crossed, Stew is happier now.
Our guys won 26/13, with a 'try' in the last moments, that was disallowed as it was a forward pass. But they played well in the second half I'm happy to say. Stew's a happy man.

Thank you from our family to yours for delivering this to Samuel. For the first time our beloved sister will be surrounded by family and will rest in peace.
