FROST. OMG it's so damn cold!
Like maybe 1 degree?
I am NOT looking forward to market this morning. I'm going to FREEZE.
The next three markets are going to be the same, cold, cold, cold. Why do we do it?
ABOVE: We had this on the family room wall in our last home. For the life of me I couldn't find it since we moved here. Then yesterday I noticed something peeking out from under the Britto Cabinet. Eureka, I found it again. Now I have to find somewhere to hang it. Sadly, wall space is just about maxxed out.
Right, I better stop procrastinating and get out of bed. God help me. Even Stew has opted for thermals and gloves today.
...
ABOVE: Everyone busy arriving, setting up. CRISP FROST is way better than a damp, seeping fog any day. And NO RAIN or WIND. Looking forward to a nice day.
ABOVE: New stall here today, selling items made from copper. Stew bought me a new heart. I could have spent a small fortune there, but contained myself.
It's slowly warming up a bit... but still frosty on the ground.
2.02 pm. Home, unpacked and now relaxing.
The market might as well have been a bust. Only made ONE sale today. And the lady who ordered the Scrappy Dolls DID NOT TURN UP. I hope she has a good excuse, because I made them especially for her.
ABOVE: We managed to spend more than we made, what with breakfast and lunch. The tamarillos were given to us by another stall holder.
ABOVE: I've had my eye on these concrete succulent pots for quite a while, and finally succumbed and bought one today. It looks lovely plonked on top of that spreading plant.
Stew has about an hour and a half, then he's off to the rugby with Steve. He's actually GOING to a game, not watching it on the telly. He's gunna love that.
While he's out, I'm gunna have a nap and warm up, then make my dinner. Stew will eat out.
Picture me having some ham/cheese and pineapple pizza, sitting in front of the telly at around 6 pm.
I will be thoroughly enjoying myself. 😉😋
6.32 pm and I'm done for the day. I had a little nap, had me dinner and now I just want to go to bed. Far too early of course. But I'm going.
Catch ya tomorrow.
Keep warm like you know how!! Hope you make a mint!
ReplyDelete1 degree? As in 0 degrees = freezing. That is cold for your neck of the woods.
ReplyDeleteThat heart is stunning. I think you should hang that sign on the back of toilet door or in the garage. It is a real laugh. Obviously Stew knows lol. Have a great day. Kj
ReplyDeleteI thought the smartest thing a man could say was "Here, have more wine!!".
ReplyDeleteSummer is coming to you! Our days are getting shorter while yours are getting longer. Hang on, you can make it!
Cold, hot and windy. I ask myself why I bother when ever those exist haha.
ReplyDeleteOmg love the copper heart!!! Thats cool 😎
ReplyDeleteLucky bugger wish I was there but TV rugby just as good!
ReplyDeleteLove the copper heart.
