I didn't get around to showing you the new bedding for our room yesterday.
So, here is the before and after:
ABOVE: The before.
The replaced cushions are now on the lounge suite in the lounge and the bed settee in the front room.
Nothing lifts ya mood like a little change around, and shopping. Shopping is so much fun.
I didn't get back to my sewing yesterday, I was a lazy tart all afternoon.
So I will probably do some today while Stew does the weekend shop.
Once he's home our plan is to take the Orbiter bus around it's entire route.
I've not done the entire route, so it will be good to know exactly where it goes, and how long it takes.
After getting home, we will head out to lunch at The Lookout, which has very quickly become our favourite eatery here in Hamilton.
ONWARD...
ABOVE: Well the bus trip on the Orbiter, in its entirety, took one hour and twenty minutes. It goes to literally everywhere I'm likely to wanna go.
Spotlight is accessible if I jump off the Orbiter at The Base and catch another bus, which takes me down Te Rapa road to Spotlight.
Sorted.
Now if I decide in the future not to drive anymore... I can just take the bus.
I'm sure that scenario is a loooooong way off though.
For now, I shall use the bus to save petrol and if I'm not in a hurry.
We are now getting lunch at The Lookout.
3.35 pm. Lunch today was very average. We both had a burger, mine was pork belly, and Stew's was beef. We won't be getting them again. First time we have been underwhelmed with the food at The Lookout.
It is now 3.35 and I've done a bit of sewing. Two small dog runners, which I will show you tomorrow. Just so I have SOMETHING to put on here tomorrow 😂😅😉.
I'm now going to simply relax, watch the telly, keep warm under my heated throw... bla bla bla.

Love the new colors... it makes it look cosy. I can't wait to one day redo our bedroom... the last to be done in the house but stuck with ex State house green green green at the moment 🙄😎
ReplyDeleteSounds like a fun and relaxing day. If any restaurants tempt you on your journey - you could always hope off and catch the next ride home.
