Stew is not at work again today, he is trying to use up some of his holiday time. He's got MASSES he has to use up in fact.
So, today we are going up to Auckland to look at another Keter storage shed. I felt like going up to actually see what was available, for the area just outside our dining room door. It needs to be big enough to hold chair pads, and other outdoor things. Any extra storage I can fit around here is a bonus.
As it will be tucked up under our roof line and not in anyone's face, I don't have to worry about it 'bothering' any bastard, I mean neighbour either.
Clearly the 'rules and regulations' around here still rankle. But, I'm just sucking it up, as there is nothing I can do about it.
I actually don't think there is anything else that will crop up in relation to 'infringements'!
So, let's get a move on and have a lovely day up in Auckland.
Do you have a shed tall enough for your rakes and shovels?
ReplyDeleteHopefully, the water gadget is within village regulations....
Because you are such a "fix it... asap" type. I think this first year should be the year of village infringements. After that - I think you will be properly integrated.
I am sure our water feature/fountain is ok.... just remember all those tall Greek statues!
DeleteYea - if they complain - you can paint a naked cherub on the side facing their house.
DeleteI made Pork Belly Carbonara or some such pasta concoction. OMG. TASTY!
Before we moved into our retirement village we had a booklet of rules and regulations and also had to visit our solicitor so that we understood all the details of our occupation. Didn't you have to that? People will still complain though. Audrey
