GOOD MORNING!
Let's all have a good day eh?
First up for me is a trip to the mall.
I need a decent bra to wear tomorrow.
I've been getting by wearing cheap bras from Postie lately. They are lovely and comfortable, but not exactly 'supportive'.
More like a t-shirt bra in fact.
The boobies don't look that good in the dress I am wearing tomorrow, wearing the current bras I have.
So, that's me. Off to try on a few more supportive boobie holders.
And that is about all I have on my agenda for now.
Catch ya later.
Time for a change.
Holding on to 'stuff' does not take away the memories.
Having another purge.
It made me laugh, it's so true.
We have success! I found the perfect bra to wear tomorrow. It fits the boobies nicely, it's comfortable and looks fine under me dress.
I also did some bits 'n' bobs shopping, ticked a few things off me list.
Home, had lunch and now I'm watching a Netflix Series called 'The Breakthrough'.
It's got me captivated... can't stop watching.
3.41 pm: I finished watching that Netflix series. I have to admit to a slight sniffle at the end. It was good, worth watching.
I finally tried on the dress with me new bra on. I'm damn happy with how I look, even though I'm still way too heavy.
I have only ever worn this dress twice before:
Tomorrow I plan on wearing my hair down, as long as it's not too hot a day. I can always throw it up if I get too hot with it down.
And the dress won't get put on until we are at the wedding... I am wearing a cotton 'petticoat' under it, so can just wear that until we get there, then I'll slip into the dress. No one is gunna realise that me petticoat is not a 'dress' as such. It looks like a sundress on it's own.
Linen dresses are gorgeous to wear, but crinkle fast. So I don't want to be sitting in it while travelling to the wedding.
First two comments in re: me in the dress today made me smile so big! (thank you) Shame I didn't have the camera pointed at me face! lol
Smiling doesn't come that easy right now.
9.50 pm: It's been a quiet evening, just Stew and I and the trusty telly. I'm off to bed soon as we have a busy day planned tomorrow.
Bendon it is then π the big positive is that it's Friday YAY!! And I've got a stomach bug π€’ no matter WFH instead. GM ππ
ReplyDeleteI am a c-cup Chris. If I lost that 5 kilos that I haves needed to lose for ten years I would be a B π©which would please me greatly. I wear a sports bra, great support, I don’t wear a sports bra though if the dress/top would be compromised by seeing the seams etc. Marie, Melbourne
ReplyDeleteSadly, my boobs are the last place to shrink when I lose weight! I'm at least a Double D cup, if not more. I am sick to death of them!
DeleteI’m assuming you’re like me, weight related. I know a few girls who’ve had boob reductions because it’s just the way it turned out. Easier said than done, lose weight to get rid of your boobs, I only have 5 kilos to lose FFS. π‘ Marie
DeleteYep. I SHOULD lose another 20 kilos to be at a really healthy weight, but I just want to lose 10 more to be happy with myself. 10 wouldn't do much to the boobs though. Grrrr. Boob reduction surgery is not possible for me with my bleeding issues.
DeleteOh just re-read my last comment. Looks like I’m telling you to lose weight, I’m telling myself (and how selfish am I, only have 5 to lose, some people would kill for that and I struggle with that π). Marie
DeleteMaire, I didn't take it that way AT ALL! Stop second guessing yourself... you know me well. It would take a lot to offend me. I was just saying I need to lose weight like you too.
DeleteIf you haven̈t left yet it might be wise to take your dress with you.
ReplyDeleteI hate bras. With a passion. Despise the fuckers!
ReplyDeleteAgree 100%, Dogstars. I reckon they were invented by people wanting to torture other people, a bit like men's ties! Audrey
DeleteI also gate bra with a passion and don't wear one if I can get away with it. They even strangle me in my dreams.
DeleteHate not gate couldn't stop the post from sending when I noticed.
DeleteJust came back get name of the Netflix series some tonight viewing I'm thinking
ReplyDeleteYou look so fresh and cute and summery!
ReplyDeleteYou look great in the dress.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the recommendation. I am only 20 minutes into "The Breakthough" and I am already hooked.
ReplyDeleteYou are welcome. And thanks for saying I'm CUTE! lol I'm in no way bloody cute chick! I'm a crabby old tart.
DeleteWho says a crabby old tart can't be cute????
DeleteI finished the series. I really liked it!
DeleteTotally agree re Linen I have a few Linen dresses
ReplyDeleteLeave house Dress looks good still the. seat belt on To go and it’s history lol
What a great idea with substitute dress πon the day πΊπΏ
The dress colour is so pretty and like you say Bra makes a big difference and your hair down like the photo yesterday .. was it?? You’ll look and feel great
Hope you don’t mind me asking ? But what brand bra is it you got ?
I too struggle with getting one that’s firm and comfortable
I do have one it was $80: on special it has front hooks totally comfortable so may get couple more of them for winter ,,,
Cheers π₯
PLAYTEX, Style Y1055H. It is not their 'cross over' one, it's a soft cup, no underwire, super comfy but still supportive. Gives you a nice shape. The Cross Over one made me look like Madonna on a bad day... pointy as fuck!!! lol
DeletePS
ReplyDeleteJust checked the front opening ones
They’re Playtex brand and get this!!!
Made in Honduras
Well you learn something every day right lol π
Cheers π₯
My one was made in Indonesia.
DeleteLove that dress. Absolutely gorgeous. I love that shade of pink too. Years ago my Dad told me I was beautiful, that colour suited me. I've never forgotten it. Have fun tomorrow. Kj
ReplyDeleteThe dress needs something around your neck - it forms a V which breaks up large boobs etc. I'm sure you have something planned :)
ReplyDeleteI love that dress. I wish you could wear pink. It looks great on you. Have a great time at the wedding
ReplyDeleteCripes....I meant to say I wish I could wear pink. Paula
DeleteSorry....it's Paula
ReplyDeleteThe dress looks completely different with new bras and the weight loss Amazing difference
ReplyDeleteDee
The new bra makes a big difference. It really lifts the girls northwards! Looking great.
ReplyDeleteI lost so much bloody weight my boobs lost as well and they're not looking good anymore!!
Love the dress…the colour is lovely ☺️
ReplyDeleteGoing to check out that bra…thanks. I need a good comfy supportive one and that obviously is going by the pic.
Enjoy the wedding.
Hope you have a lovely time tomorrow. I absolutely love weddings.
ReplyDeleteNice look for the wedding I too will check out that bra here in Aussie fingers crossed.
ReplyDeleteHave a great time at the wedding. The bra I always buy, is difficult to find these days, must be discontinued. Might try to see if I can get the one you mentioned, and give it a try.
ReplyDeleteYou are doing a great job! I wear sports bras at home they definitely aren't flattering to the boobies lol. I have one good bra that is broke in and all the others just hurt so I hate wearing them.
