SQUARE TABLE TOPPER

 

Here's to another Square Table Topper getting done today.

ABOVE:  This is the line up of fabrics for today's S.T.Topper.  I found that bit of fabric (the multi coloured one) tucked under some papers in the sewing room.  I was rather happy, as I really have packed away most of my fabric, only keeping out a few select ones.  It's a rather awesome find.

I didn't get any castors for the Ottoman yesterday.  I talked to Steve about it, and he wants to check out the Ottoman to make sure we get the 'right' castors, and fit them properly.

I do believe he is now doing the job!  lol  😂😅😉

It wasn't deliberate Steve, I was only asking you for your advice.  

So my plan today is to sew for a while, puzzle for a while, and repeat.

1.43 pm, and I have just finished the next Square Table Topper.

ABOVE:  I'm happy I went back to using the black accents, it makes the work 'pop' more.

I do like the blue one, it's just not popping enough for me.

Now that one is done, I really don't need to make any more.  Said no one ever.  I'll probably make more over the next few weeks, just for something to do.

7.18 pm:  I've had a very pleasant afternoon.  I had me lunch, which was a Subway Sandwich... yummy!

Then I watched some mindless YouTube videos for a while, before getting the jig saw out and working on that.

Stew arrived home and told me he'd been to the Waikato Sports Medicine Clinic.

He had some cortisone injections into his shoulder... for his bursitis.  Hopefully that helps with the pain he has been experiencing for the past couple of years.

He's booked in to get physio done on it as well, it starts in just over a week.

Our poor bodies... getting old.  😔😕
