FIRST TIME TODAY

 Today will be a first for us.

I am picking our granddaughter Keera up from School at 3 pm.

She now gets to spend every 2nd weekend with us and Lacy ... right up until I take her back to school on Monday morning!

Such a fantastic outcome, one we fought hard to get.

Yesterday, while visiting the Specialist with Brylee... I was fixated on these:

ABOVE:  The doctor's socks!  Yep.  I just loved them.  I was really tempted to ask him where he got them.  But 😒 I didn't.

And lets be real, Stew has quite enough freakin' socks.

Now, back to today.  I'm expecting a parcel delivery, so once that has arrived I will be going to the supermarket, returning a carpet sample, picking up a prescription, and who knows what else? 

ABOVE: My hand is looking way, way better, and the soreness is almost gone too.

Hallway/bedroom carpet - we have accepted a 'cash out' payment from our insurance company, and will put the money towards the new carpet for the entire house in a couple of months time.  So that is sorted.

In fact, literally everything that has been 'on my mind' for MONTHS AND MONTHS is resolved.  So, life can now get back to 'normal'.

I might even start sewing again soon!  

1.55 pm:  making this quick. I've had a busy morning, housework mostly.

Now I'm getting ready to head out to pick up Keera and them come home.

My parcel hasn't arrived yet, so our friend Tarsh is housesitting in case it arrives while I'm out.

Such a lovely girl!

OMG the bloody parcel has not turned up yet!  So, so frustrating.

I have to sign for it... I bet the bastards turn up at 4.58 pm.   

Our kiddo is happily eating afternoon tea, full of chatter and gossip! Man you get told SO MUCH SHIT from a blabber mouth!  lol

This evening we had fish 'n' chips for dinner.   Then yoghurt and fruit and hot milo.
