LET'S DO THIS

ABOVE:  Well... it's here.

We go to Hamilton today to try and sell our house.

I'm trying not to throw up with nerves!
So, so nervous.

The auction is at 12 noon.  We know there's at least 12 houses on the 'list', but we have no idea where ours is placed... so no idea when ours will go up.  Could be 12, or even 1 pm or later!

Please cross all ya bits 'n' bobs for a positive outcome for us today.

I will be back AFTER the auction with either good (or not so good) news.  Bearing in mind if we don't sell at the actual auction, there's a good chance we will sell within the next few days?

I don't know.  I'm totally over the wondering, the stressing and so on.  I just want today over, one way or the other.

I have to kill a few hours before I head into town.  If I can gather some brain cells together, I'll probably do the housework then carry on with the new table runner I started yesterday.

ONWARD...

DOGSTARS: its 11 am here... so an hour to go before the Auctions start.  I'm going inside to get the list to see where ours is in the placing.

We are 8th on the list. So don't  expect ANYTHING till well after 1 pm, it might even be as late as 2.

MY hands are shaking so much! And I don't know how I got in here without crashing into someone.  I'm that DISTRACTED and FRAZZLED.

SOLD   SOLD   SOLD !!!!

3.37 pm... stuck in traffic trying to get home. 

Aaarrrrrgh.

4.20 pm:  And I'm finally home.
OMG what a day.

I was so sick with nerves all morning, right up until our home was on the 'block' so to speak.

And it went so well... I was in SHOCK!  I had the shakes so bad.  We ended up with the two bidders as we kinda expected (though I was in doubt they would even bid!)... and they literally fought it out for like... 3 minutes?  And it was all over really.

We got over and above what we were hoping for too...so we came away extremely happy and elated.

We then literally walked across the road to another real estate firm...

ABOVE:  Lugton's is where we sold our home... and there we are sitting in an office at Lodge... about to make an offer on our new home!!!

This is up in the air for a day or two as there's another group who might make an offer too.  Then we would have to enter in to a Multi-offer situation.

Something I hope and pray we don't have to do obviously.

It could be a nervous evening.

But... the BEST THING... we have sold our home in record time (4 weeks), for a very, very good price.  

I'm going out shortly, to buy some wine (a bubbly one), and something for dinner.  Think I deserve a night off cooking after today's hectic pace.

And guess what?
I don't need to go buy wine.

 ABOVE:  Tony arrived and put the SOLD sticker on our sign... what a thrilling moment that was.... and...

 ABOVE:  He gave us this HUGE bottle of wine!!!

ABOVE:  Don't ya just LOVE our wine bucket!   Love it.

Off now to get some dinner.

9.09 pm:  And dinner is done, wine has been drunk... and it's time to totally relax for an hour or so... before bed.

I had one and a half glasses of wine and I was done.  Such a lightweight.
