By the end of today I know I will be in heaps of PAIN.
Mostly my right arm, lower back and gluts!
Yesterday afternoon was horrible... after doing a private house clean then a shift at the rest home I was so sore!
So, today is going to be the same, probably worse as I have a three hour house clean this morning, followed by a shift at the rest home. *sigh*
I keep thinking, why the hell am I doing this? Then my tooth hurts, well three of them actually, and I remember. Dental bills.
Once I have finished paying off them (oh and getting the work done of course)... I can start saving up for Christmas.
And sewing supplies too ... cos I can't make money from my sewing unless I buy materials eh?
Sometimes I think I should just stop sewing because it really is an expensive hobby.
ABOVE: This is the iron I use at work. It's pretty amazing. None of that having to refill it every half an hour! I thought about getting one, till I saw the price! Well over $300!!!
I don't do enough ironing to justify that sort of price.
I hate ironing anyway, I only iron my patchwork and fabrics!
At work I don't have to do much ironing thank goodness! Just a handful of resident's clothes and pillowcases. And seriously, they way they 'taught' me to iron pillowcases is: 'fold it in three, swipe, fold in half, swipe, done! It only takes about 15 seconds to do one.
Right, I better get up and start the day, I have to restock my cleaning trolley for today's clean.
ONWARD...
1.15 pm: home from my first job of the day. Exhausted! But a job well done... and one pissed off cat, who was NOT allowed inside today. No dead rats/mice/birds on my clean floors today. *smiles*
Just had lunch, some chicken on wholemeal bread. And cheese, cos well... I love cheese.
Now I'm watching Home and Away and warming up again... then in an hour and a half I'm off to work again. Yaaaaaa.
OLD MOO: I will try taking Panadol more often, even though I hate the idea of popping pain killers! I have always thought, use them too often and when you really need them to work for pain, they won't. But yeah, I will take some when my aches and pains get a bit much.
As for being a quitter, *sigh*... you are right, I'm not usually one of those. Just having a wobble right now... tired, sore... and nervous as hell about upcoming dental work. And YES, I am going to try recouping some money from the shit dentist I went to last year.
I doubt it will work, but it's worth a try.
Stew has been in Auckland all day, he got up at 5.30 am to get there in time for his meeting, so he's going to be knackered when he gets home, poor man.
Brylee is at work, as is the other teenager.
Just heard from Stewie, he's picking up the teenager and should be home soon.
HEY! Pop back tomorrow... I've got a 'throw back' photo to share!!!
But for now... it's sign off time. I'm going to veg out in front of the telly with me blankie on... cos it's damn FREEZING.
No iron motto for me hope u having a good day
ReplyDeleteYou're such a legend at house work, if your private cleaning makes you more money would you up your private jobs?
ReplyDeleteHow is the low carb going? To we just weigh in at the end of the two weeks or do I weigh Monday?
