HAPPY BIRTHDAY DANTE

 Today is Dante's 11th Birthday.

We hope you have a fabulous day young man.

ABOVE:  Dante, just a day or two old. And OMG his parents!  They've changed ... just a bit.

Incredible to think that NEXT MONTH they will be holding another brand new Harvey baby.

DAY 6 OF 15 

Today is our last market of the year, out at Tamahere.

I hope it's a good one!  I really don't want to sit there for hours on end, bored out of my brain.

I'm definitely having one of those V drinks before I leave.  I need the energy boost!  This diet is still playing havoc with my energy levels.

Right ... it's time for us to leave.  Catch ya later on, once we are all set up.

And... its 7.50 am, and we are ready for the market to begin. 

ABOVE: We just LOVE our spot here. We get this BONUS space to the side of our gazebo. Very lucky.

ABOVE:  I might have bought...  a bloody rock!  Bugger all sales so far, just a few.

ABOVE: 11 am.  Its picked up nicely now. Don't we look colourful in our stall. 😊

3.30 pm. We've been home for a while.  The market was very good. Just when we thought it was 'over' and we were packing up, we made two more very good sales.  So big smiles all round.

Once we got home, we promptly went out to Mitre 10 for some more vege plants and so on.

Now home again, and I've got the soaker hoses on in the gardens as it's starting to dry out.  First time use for almost all of the soaker hoses.  We didn't need them at all last summer.

Steve, Bex and the boys are on their way over for dinner.  They are cooking, and supplying the birthday cake for Dante.  I'm having my own dinner (chicken and salad) and Steve is having his own dinner (some sort of meat/egg/cheese meal), as he's following a very strict diet to help ease his Pancolitis symptoms. 

 ABOVE:  Stew decided to have crackers, cheese and relish for afternoon tea.  He also decided to eat that in the lounge, well away from me.

He wants to live to see Christmas!

I cannot STAND listening to someone eat, particularly loud shit like crackers!

I know I'm not alone in this 'affliction'. Our son Steve is even worse than me, if that's possible.

ABOVE:  Dante with his Birthday Cakes.  His was the small carrot cake, while everyone else had chocolate mud cake, ice cream and strawberries.

Except Steve and I, who are both abstaining from sugar and carbs.

I grabbed a tomato out of the fridge, and while eating it, I sniffed the birthday cake repeatedly.  The tomato STILL tasted like a bloody tomato. 😟😞😩  

10.10 pm:  It's been a really nice day.  And now... I'm knackered and heading off to bed for a well earned sleep.
