Holy hell... cooooold.
ABOVE: The first really decent frost I've seen all year.
-4 degrees here in Kinloch.
We've come into town for a little walk around.
There's a market on again.
ABOVE: This stall made us smile. Nice platter boards too. Shame we don't need one.
When you can't make up your mind which is the best photo to post....
Just bought a couple of dust catchers in a gift shop. π€ͺWHY???? π₯Ίπ
edit: I stand corrected. It's where the Waikato River exits Lake Taupo and starts it's journey through the Waikato to the sea at Port Waikato.
I was brought up to believe this is is where the Waikato River starts though, so I might just keep 'believing' that.
Now we are heading home.
7.30 pm: Safely home. Unpacked. Updated social media. Blankie on. Thinking about snacks for dinner. πππ
Catch ya tomorrow.
Mmmmm. Hashbrowns. I am a sucker for them! As I sit here and LAUGH about your "chilly" day. At that temp I wear wool socks with sandals. My rule is if I get snow on my toes I upgrade to Uggs! My unfortunate winter weather becomes klife threatening in minutes. Why do I live here? I may need to become a snowbird. Move to warmer climate for the winter! A warmer climate would include your weather today! Not fussy!
ReplyDeleteWas -8 here Chris but glorious day now.
ReplyDeleteYip she was cold alright worked until 1.30am had long lay in resting up see y’all soon π
ReplyDeleteSounds like a perfect get away in a beautiful part of the world. One can never have too many serving boards!

The Waikato river rises in the eastern slopes of Mount Ruapehu, joining the Tongariro River system and flowing through Lake TaupΕ, Audrey
