SUMMER CLOTHES FOR MUPPET

Yesterday we took Keera shopping for a few clothes.  She's grown so much since last summer.

Even the togs we had here no longer fit her too well.

ABOVE: I just love this little outfit (it has pom poms in a heart shape), and Keera spied the sunhat, that goes so well with it.

ABOVE: Miss Muppet looking all swish in her 'Christmas came early' clothes.

Today I suspect we will be doing very much the same stuff as yesterday.

Swimming.  Hanging out with kids.

And something else.

I do have a special activity planned for the children. I hope they really enjoy it.

It involves eating.  Should go down well I reckon. 😂😉😋

ABOVE:  All ready for swimming. Dante is slowly catching up on his cousin's height.  Couple of years and he will no doubt pass her.

ABOVE: This very slim child NEVER STOPS EATING!  For her lunch yesterday she ate a Cheese Burger, 7 chicken nuggets, and an entire pack of hot chips, and then some of Grandads too!  

Then for dinner she had mince and bacon stew, Pasta Salad, Potato Salad and bread and butter.  Followed by Christmas Cake!

And then there was morning and afternoon tea which was banana and biscuits!

Right, that's all for now... I'm going to roll over and await another kid jumping into bed with  us.

lovely photo's but where are Amanda's and Russell's and Kelly's kids, I here Mikes about to be a dad, you seem very one sided. lately your posts seem to just be about Steven and Lacy.

AMANDA'S KIDS:  Amanda has shared custody of her children. They get brought around infrequently.  It's not up to us when and how often they come around.  If they were here more often, there would be more photos of them.

KELLY'S DAUGHTER:  We are going through a difficult period with Kelly right now, so we don't get to see Rena at the moment.

RUSSELL'S KIDS:  His eldest son, Joshua, is 19 and lives in Auckland.  He can choose to visit us anytime he wishes.  He doesn't wish.  His two youngest children live in Australia with their mother.  We have not seen or heard from them in YEARS.  Even if we did have photos of them, we ARE NOT ALLOWED to put them on here.

MIKE :  Is certainly NOT about to become a Dad!  Ridiculous speculation there.

STEVEN & LACY:  You are 100% correct, my posts are heavy on their families, and comings and goings.  That is because they choose to spend lots of time with us.

We are thankful to see them so much, they bring us joy.  Well... Lacy brings us joy 50% of the time!

And that's that.  Next time you feel like criticising me.... MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS WOULD YA?

ABOVE:  Just to be clear, this is open to ALL FAMILY and FRIENDS.

We are having a very relaxed morning.  Just sitting around yakking. It's still fairly cool, but it's going to be a scorcher day by the look of it. 

So... it's now 11.13 and we have been down to The Base to get some Play Dough!  And we also popped back into Bed Bath and Beyond and bought ANOTHER Family Member!

Then when we got home, Steve and Bex called in with a gift for us. 

Would you believe it?  ANOTHER one!

ABOVE:  Meet Rachel.  She works at a Vet Clinic, keeping an eye on the goldfish.  

And Robyn (from Steve and Bex)... well Robyn is a piss head and spends all her time at the pub.  Keeping the local publican in business during Covid 19. She's a kept woman like me. 

And in the back we have Rubin.  Rubin has been in our family for over a year already.  He's very quiet, and likes to keep to himself when he's not at work in the local bakery.

ABOVE:  Hmmm.  What are they doing I wonder?

So, this afternoon we made Marshmallow Christmas Cookies.

ABOVE:  It was an incredibly sticky business.  But the kids did have fun.   

ABOVE:  But maybe not as much as this kid.

As for what the guys are doing.  Well... I might just have to keep that until tomorrow.  There's quite enough on here for now!

ABOVE:  This afternoon was spent primarily in the pool.  We had Amanda, Emily and Liam here as well, which was lovely.  (More photos tomorrow).

I think everyone will be very tired tonight.

I made little, individual pies for dinner, using left over mince 'n' bacon stew from last night.

Lacy get's the 'spare' ones tomorrow.

Stew and I are knackered.  It has been a full on weekend.  But we have thoroughly enjoyed it.

Now though?  Time to relax for a little while before bed.
