I went to Weight Watchers last night.
And I had a nice loss of 1.5 kilos.
Impressive considering I've not been following the 'plan' too well.
But I have been watching portion sizes and not eating too much crap. Something must be working!
Tonight our Weight Watcher's group is having a shared dinner at one of our member's homes.
I only found out about it last night... so I'm going anyway.
It's all part of my plan to totally get out there and meet people here in Cambridge. And it's working.
I now run into ladies I have met at Patchwork group, Aqua Fit and Weight Watchers here on the street. It's neat. Everyone is so friendly and always say 'Hi' when we pass.
Now... today? I want a quiet day... well at least the morning.
My Aunt and Uncle from are passing through later on this afternoon and will be stopping for afternoon tea. So I better get the vacuming done... it's looking pretty crappy!
Yeah and I've got a parcel waiting down at the Postshop... I'm hoping it's the alcohol inks I ordered from Australia?
ONWARD...
2.03 pm: I've had a fairly busy morning... went and picked up my parcel:
So, after that I went into Hamilton to pick up this:
ABOVE: It's for the new Monkey Bars, which will arrive sometime this week all going well.
I also plan on getting a slide and making a climbing wall to attach to it too.
My Aunt and Uncle are due here soon, so I better get off me butt and put the dogs out, my Aunt doesn't like them.
I had fruit for lunch, trying to keep up the good weight loss results. Hopefully I can continue to lose weight over the Christmas period?
I faded this afternoon... felt like a limp dishcloth!
I was awake last night from 3 am till I got up. My tummy was NOT happy with me at all. It can only have been either the Tonic water or the Magnesium tablet I took yesterday.
So, I'm off to my Doctor next week to get something that won't upset my stomach so much!
Hopefully I get a decent night's sleep tonight.
The Weight Watcher's dinner was LOVELY. A small group of us ladies tonight, but we had some lovely conversations going on, and plenty of laughs too.
I was so happy to be there... getting to know ladies from Cambridge and starting to feel like part of the community here.
Signing off... catch ya tomorrow.
Congrats on the weight -the holidays are definitely the wrong time to Lose ANY weight - lol ! That is wonderful you are getting to meet some nice people!

ReplyDeleteBunnings.
DeleteWe sell a high strength powder magnesium at the physio I work for. An upset tummy can be a side effect. Basically if you have too much of it in your system .... it will flush it out ... sorry if thats TMI.
ReplyDeleteI felt blah yesterday woke with sore throat taking high doses vit C. Read this last night ( Magnesium is LIKELY SAFE for most people when taken by mouth appropriately or when the prescription-only, injectable product is used correctly. In some people, magnesium might cause stomach upset, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and other side effects. Doses less than 350 mg daily are safe for most adults ) That is why I opted for the cream too I rub it into my calf ankles thigh etc. You ca buy magnesium malate which is more absorbable if that makes sense. Hope you get better soon. It's me Blondie.
