ABOVE: The cake from HELL.... and WHY do I say that? Because it is so bloody delicious you simply can't have 'just a tiny piece', THAT'S WHY! I blame LellyJ for giving me the recipe! And if YOU want it.... go here.... but don't blame me if you GAIN 3 kilos OVERNIGHT! I swear to god it's devine.

I managed to read and comment on 210 blog updates last night! The remaning 286 I deleted! SORRY if I missed you, I tried to read one from everyone!
ONWARD....
DIET COKE ROCKS just went 'Public' Again. Why? Cos It is a pain in the butt having to do two identical blogs! AND I was getting asked to open ANOTHER one to fit more readers on me list.... and I am not going to do that! So, it's open again ....
We took the kids out for a 'tiki tour'... should have stayed at home! They got bored REAL quick! Took them over the harbour bridge, ice creams at St Helliers Bay, watched planes landing at the airport... all BORING it would seem. They are happiest just playing together at home. Cool.... cheapest option!
End of Day: the kids were full of beans after being cooped up in the car for a while this afternoon and nearly drove me demented with all the noise and running around! Luckily Stew is home cos otherwise I would have been tempted to tape their mouths shut! (Joking of course, but WHAT an idea!)... anyway... they are now all bathed and in bed. Watching a movie now... then it will be nite nite.
I love how Brylee is looking at Joshua.......like, don't you dare touch MY cake!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you did! I lost the link to the private one and am so happy you showed up in my reader again!
ReplyDeleteOh my god..i want that cake..it looks awesome..could you send me a peice please? thanks bunches.
ReplyDeleteI love Lellyj's blog and will print off that recipe. As far as the noise goes, I understand when seeing my nephews and niece on Friday for 3 little people they make a lot of noise. Hopefully dear Teddy is somewhere quiet and away from it all - or is he in the middle of the action? Martine xx
ReplyDeleteGood to see you back Chris - I've missed your daily updates!
ReplyDeleteThank you so very much for sharing the cake recipe with us. Yes, it does sound sinful - but that is part of being "HUMAN" means. It also tells me that you are "sweet as sweet can be"!
ReplyDeleteLove the picture of the kids! Happy and Healthy - what could be better!

I don't think i'll get the recipe for that cake thanks. I've got enough food issues without inviting more! lol
...Why did you make your blog private anyway?
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm so glad you did! As much as I enjoy reading your posts, it was a little bit of a pain getting to them. But, you must know, you are well worth it!!!
ReplyDeleteWelcome back!
I'm very pleased to read that Griffin has a diagnosis. You'll start to see results this year, which will be so good for him and his self esteem. I'm glad you've gone back to one public blog too, I kept forgetting to pop on over and have a look at pepsi and had missed out on oodles of posts.
ReplyDeletei have decided that kids until puberty are awesome and i would take any and all of them after puberty hits ... Put them down... and until they have kids of their own... and some even after that dont let them back out... right now the ONLY thing that will stop my trip is if i get sick... Aiden can not be around people who are sick a simple cold could kill him ... that is what kept me from going last year... love your header pic and I so need to catch up... i have been spending ALOT of time on my cross stitch project and trying to make me clean marthas remaining stuff out... thats so hard... but If i can work up a really good mad i can do it LOL
ReplyDeleteLove n hugs Laura
Well Chris, I'm glad you enjoyed the cake-and it's dead easy, isn't it?! Damn shame about all the butter and sugar in it, I agree, but at least if you're gonna eat cake, might as well make it a nice one, eh. I made one of those cakes yesterday too as it was my birthday. I only got the teeniest bit though as I had 5 hungry teenage boys in the house. I have a houseful of kids too! Teenagers are quieter though because they all have headphones in their ears.
ReplyDeleteAny cake with the word "mud" in the name is my kind of cake! This looks fabulous and the kids look like very happy campers!
ReplyDeleteHave a great Sunday!
xo
If you got a cake from Hell, you should have stopped by for a visit when you were picking it up. I live a quarter mile north of hell!
ReplyDeletethat cake looks SO damn good! you cant show me things like that without mailing me a peice..
ReplyDeleteChris, I'm so happy you made your blog public again. I was / am an advit follower, but guilty of never really commenting... so sorry. I <3 your blog so much, I like forward to your daily rants and raves....
ReplyDeleteThat cake looks DELISH!! I will have to try that recipe. And I saw your comment on my post last night, you cracked me up! Yes, unfortunately I do write like I talk. Aren't you glad you live so far away and I can't jut pop over anytime I want?? Ha!!
ReplyDeleteDang it. I'm gonna have to make that cake now. Thanks for sharing!!!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I'm guilty of wearing ear plugs sometimes just because it gets so loud sometimes. I love, love the quiet. I know. I have six kids. I love the kids. I like the quiet. It doesn't mean I can't hear them with the ear plugs in but it takes the loudness level down.
