Mum is such a Tart! She decided to trim around my neck and face, cos my collar was making a huge mass of knots....
*SNIFF* .. now EVERYONE can SEE where I was a naughty boy and scratched my neck/chin! It is getting better... but I bet Mum doesn't let me keep my collar off for ages. (she trimmed me bum too.. HOW HUMILIATING!) So NOT HAPPY!
Yeah, it's a crap job, but I just saved myself $70! I am not trusting anyone with Teddy again... I will try and groom him myself from now on. He does fight.... but I'm BIGGER and can hold him down! *smiles*
Today: might go buy a wee bit of material for another bag... I know I have heaps of material already, but NONE is 'quite right' for the bag! Go figure.
ONWARD... I can honestly say... I have had a really NEAT morning, I met some really nice people today! And I still havn't managed to buy some material either.. that is next.....
ABOVE: the colours I chose for the 2nd bag.. what do ya think??? Just started it this afternoon...
Then I walked up to get the kids from school... and it RAINED. Nice one... it even got a little bit cold! But not as cold as Palmy... hee hee he.
End of Day: I had hoped to crack on with the sewing tonight, but I've come down with an awful headache... so am going to take a pill and lie down.... hopefully it helps. All good though....it's been a really nice day. nite nite.
Have a happy day and good on you for doing the half :-) well thinking about it anyway lol.
ReplyDeleteHe's so vicious ;o) My mom has been grooming her own dogs too. I think I'll stick with the shedder that doen't need clipping!
ReplyDeleteThat will teach ya teddy Dont mess with mum eh. lol. It will be easier to heal now Chris and with the moneyu saved you can buy some more material :-)
ReplyDeleteLOL! He is so cute!
ReplyDeleteHa ha! I can so relate to not having quite the right fabric in spite of loads of the stuff in my sewing room. Enjoy a nice quiet sewing day.
ReplyDeleteThe funniest thing about Teddy, is the factt hat he actually DOES look grumpy in that photo! Hehe...
ReplyDeleteI don't think I have ever seen another dog that has such gorgeous facial expressions as him!
Too cute :)
He does look a little pissed there - lol!
ReplyDeleteHey Teddy....this is Tootsie. I feel your pain! Just go with it. In the end you will get a treat and all will be well!
ReplyDeleteTell that tart mum of yours to go a little easier next time!
Did you know your dawg got on your computer and is posting on your blog?
ReplyDeleteThat might be against Bloggers rules, not sure.
I have clipped Georgie by myself for years - but she is very well behaved. Just stands there and waits for it to be over! I have to keep her fur very short (she is a poodle terrier X we think) otherwise she gets dreadlocks and starts scratching! If you keep his fur nice and short his skin will be able to breathe so good on you! :)
ReplyDeleteTeddy is so cute, he will learn soon enough who is boss.
ReplyDeleteLove the sneer on Teddy's face...he was not happy with you. It looks like you did a good job though. BTW, I like your Christmas "count down" tree. I've done nothing yet for Christmas, so it is getting me inspired.
ReplyDeleteI think Teddy looks great! I've just started to try to groom my dogs too. It costs me over $200 when I take them all to the groomer!
ReplyDeleteI've done ears, tails, necks, etc. so far, and they've come out looking pretty good...the secret is to use thinning shears. They don't leave blunt edges and seem to do a great job.
AND the money you save will be spent ON THERAPY for TEDDY I tell ya it will!!!!
ReplyDeleteEvery time I see cute little dog, I wish we had one.
ReplyDeleteHi Chris,
ReplyDeleteYou did a really good job and he is the sweetest! My pets are what keeps me sane!
I like your Christmas tree also- I have been working all year long, but still time runs off and leaves me.
Hope you find the perfect material for you next project. Sometimes just looking is half the fun?
Hugs, Linda
love it... and love that you made him know you can and will be the top dog (so to speak) lol you made me smile :D
ReplyDeletePoor puppy! Mum is taking excellent care of you and her whole family. God bless MUM!!
ReplyDeleteHaha poor Teddy.. but hopefully this may stop him being so itchy?? I love the colours on your bag.. can't wait to see it stitched.
ReplyDeleteTeddy is adorable, but he doesn't look happy!
ReplyDeleteMicki
You are making another bag like the one you made at the sewing class? I thought you weren't going to do that ever again!
ReplyDeleteI think Teddy looks just fine in his home done trim.
Awww poor Teddy. He is a cutie though. I trim my dogs nails and stuff - that right there saves me like 30 bucks, since its 7 dollars per dog - and we have 4!
ReplyDeleteWhat a poor fellow he is. Hope he heals soon so he won't have to wear that collar he despises so much. It was a big headache day for me too. Hope you're not too tired from it and are feeling better.
