I need your honest opinion....
Am I too grumpy to blog? Am I boring the shit outta ya all? Are you sick of hearing me be a grumpy tart? WELL ??? NOTE: I am not saying I am going to stop blogging (NEVER!).. Just asking if my blog content is getting too 'down' and should I stop putting my grumpy -ness on it? You know, try to only blog about NICE stuff? Oh shit, then I would have nothing to say! LOL
I would love to wake up every morning bright and cheerful, have a wonderful day and go to bed at night full of the joys of the day! But in reality I hardly ever feel happy at the moment. But I know that the MINUTE we have good news on the home selling front my mood will change! I will have a reason to get up every day, something to LOOK forward to.... living one's life in LIMBO is not much fun..... ADD menopausal moods and numerous worrysome kids to the mix and you have ME.... Mrs Bloody Grumpy.
So, what do ya think? Am I too grumpy? Should I go to "BE NICE SCHOOL"?
I await your response! Wanna-be....in particular!
COFFEE BEAN: Snorting Diet Coke through one's nose is NOT recommened!!! It is just a TOTAL WASTE of perfectly good Diet Coke girl! tut tut.
In an attempt at NICENESS: I give you a flower... it is growing in me garden, I did not plant it, it just grew all on it's own.
Isn't it pretty? All go "awww" now.... NO? I thought not, it's yellow for a start. I don't like yellow. It has no lovely smell, it's all talk and no do! It is only there cos there is nothing else 'there'... it is living on borrowed time.
That feels better, I just can't do nice right now!
End of Day: done nothing today, havn't felt like it.
nite nite.
No no no you are not too grumpy to blog. Even when you are grumpy you make it interesting and sometimes funny! I love your posts. I worry about mine (Am I too boring to 'blog' or rather do my web site!? But I love reading yours.....
ReplyDeleteWhen I am grumpy I wish I could describe it in the honest to goodness way you do....you're brill so keep on blogging!
I am sorry you are so down at the moment, XCathy
I've only been coming around your blog a couple of days, so I didn't know if you were particularly grumpy or not. Some people have a grumpy bent to their humor. I just keep coming back because what I've read so far made me laugh and the way you write, where you live, the fact you have a zillion kids, are raising grands, and that you lost all that weight and look fabulous is interesting to me.
ReplyDeleteI think Diet Coke Rocks too, but only with fresh lime. In fact, I snorted some right through my nose when you said something the other day to the tune of, "piss off and go read someone else's blog." I think that is what hooked me right there.
Being in limbo is really tough. Waiting for your house to sell is really tough. Having your husband so far away is really tough. And kids....OY! My oldest ran off in January. Kid trouble is hard to take.
I'm just a big ole nobody blogger in a vast sea full of bloggers but I say, keep blogging if it is a positive thing in your life! I find your grumpiness highly entertaining. Although, that may cause you to tell me to piss off and read another blog... To which I will laugh and keep reading.
Well, honest answer, yes you are grumpy but with reason!!! We understand and only want things to change for you too. You really might have to re-look at your options. This is going to be so hard on you all if it goes on too long - especially the kids. Poor you :(
ReplyDeleteYou are not grumpy, but the circumstace you are in is enough to piss anyone off. My hubby is away ALL the time to and Im angry ALL the time too. You are interesting and funny and people love your honesty. Well I do, makes a refreshing change in this world of sometimes make believe!
ReplyDeleteKeep on a bloggin' you would be missed:0)
Don't stop blogging cuz you feel like a crabby ass right now! I enjoy your grumpy insight and daily life report. Maybe that says something about my boring life! LOL Seriously, I don't think you are too grumpy to blog. You need to blog to vent or you might snap! (joking) Anyway, that'a my opinion! I encourage grumpy...bring it on! :)
ReplyDeleteI reckon blog out how your feeling otherwise those emotions are stuck inside and eventually drive you crazy.
ReplyDeletede-lurking here - don't stop blogging! I love your blog, doesn't matter if you're grumpy! I'm grumpy 99% of the time, thanks to lovely menopause, so I totally understand. grumpiness=humour
ReplyDeleteThis blog is about you and if you are grumpy then go ahead and blog grumpy etc..... we will all still read it no matter what the mood :)
ReplyDeleteWell personally I don't want to read someone's blog who only posts about happy times. Gets a bit boring after a while! I've been reading your blog for ages, Chris, and I agree with the other ladies that said you sometimes make grumpy funny...lol
ReplyDeleteKeep on doing what you're doing and if someone doesn't like your grumpyness, then they don't have to read it!
We all need to vent and if we can't vent on OUR BLOGS, then whats the point??!!
Awwwwwwwwww...
ReplyDeleteThat is a lovely flower. And I like yellow. I wonder why it doesn't smell like anything??? I think you should give it a break though. It could have smelled of something awful. That would have been a fine howdy do to bend down and breathe in something putrid. I know. I've done it before.
Always be true to yourself....I enjoy reading your blog, its sane, your normal and thats got to be a good thing:)..thanx for the support Chris big hugss back at you
ReplyDeleteJust you being honest!! That's what it should be about.
ReplyDeleteReally don't blame you at all being a bit grumpy some days!

Chris, I would be pretty ol' crabby in your situation as well. I'm sure we're going to see plenty happy posts when you are able to sell the house.
ReplyDeleteHey, I have some Stanleys here. Would you like me to mail them to you? Leave an email address in a comment on my blog and I will not publish it.

Biggest hugs to you and i seriously wish there was something I can do to help.. I havent even got the time to get on here anywhere near as much as I used to...And when I do I feel guilty coz I am not spending the time with mark or my kids or getting that mountain of ironing done or the kids lunches cut etc etc...
You are soooo not alone girl... just a shame we arent in the same city.. we could whinge about it all together!
I'm pro-grumpy... why pretend to be a little ray of sunshine if that's not how you feel?
ReplyDeleteIf you can't be grumpy on your own blog then where can you be grumpy?
Hey! I haven't been here before, so i dunno if you are too grumpy or not. If you were, no-one would be commenting :o)
ReplyDeleteI had to laugh on Mrs Meows blog. I see your comments all the time, and suddenly your pic has turned a tad. Same hair, same background, just a little turn of the head lol
Hey, your son is pretty hot! :oÞ
ReplyDeleteI love your blog because your honest about how your feeling and about whats going on. Grumpy? Sometimes, but everyone has grumpy days. There is a lot going on in your world, and much reason to have grumpy days. Keep blogging. We love reading your grumpy, funny, etc. posts.
ReplyDeleteAlrighty Chick... where are ya today? I took a quick look back and see that you are pretty darn regular with your posting. You can't not post without telling us all to piss off first.
ReplyDeleteI'm praying for you and whatever all you're going through. Life sucks sometimes. I know.
I'll check back later today to see if you are back up in the WWW World. Take care, I'm thinkin bout ya down in Middle Earth all the way from here in the USA.
