Sad day... Stew goes back to work. Sad for him, cos I'm sure he's been enjoying his two week holiday.
I'm happy that he has more holidays, a full month in fact, starting mid December! He's having to use up a lot of his accumulated holiday time. He had far, far too much banked up.
Today I'm going to Chartwell Square to re-install Netflix through our SPARK account. We stopped it when we moved in here, but are now missing it.
You don't realise how much you actually do use something, until you don't have it anymore.
I will do some brisk walking around the mall while there, to get in some exercise. Then I'll come home, have me lunch and then... go to graft group down in the village community centre.
ABOVE: That's me old 'garden trolley', repurposed into a sewing trolley. π It will make it super easy to transport my sewing machine and what nots down to craft group now.Right, that's me for now, catch ya later.
Success! I got everything done on my list of 'to dos' this morning.
We have Netflix again, I found a BBQ cover for my trolley, an absorbent mat for the kitchen bench to put the dishes on, two new (smaller) sweatshirts for next year (gotta love a sale). I've done all the washing and it's out under cover, and I'm watching 'D' mow our lawns... Stew loves that he doesn't have to do lawns ever again. ππ
I am now awaiting the arrival of Lacy, who's just popping in for a minute. Then I will have me lunch and go off to craft group.
ABOVE: I was the only person using a sewing machine today, so I was a bit out of the loop. But one or other of the ladies came over and yakked with me a few times, which was nice.
ABOVE: I started another Braid Runner. It's coming along nicely.
ABOVE: Yes KJ, it has wheels and a handle! It is very handy, and worked perfectly today.
I'm now home, and about to have something to eat... cos I forgot me lunch.
7.31 pm: I just finished watching my first Netflix movie in months. It was bloody good too. 'The Woman in Cabin 10' ... well worth watching.
And now I'm going to sign off for the day, catch ya tomorrow.
I couldn't live without my Netflix or PBS. Too many good shows on each. I like your new purses. I've worn the same style for many years. I can't even remember the last time I "carried" a purse. Enjoy your crafting today, Ky Girl.
ReplyDeleteHas that got wheels and a handlΓ© for pulling? Kj
ReplyDeleteOK, I have to ask why you cancelled Netflix when it's actually free and included on your Spark plan? Serious question. We don't have Sky and only have Netflix plus free to view. We wouldn't be without it for sure.
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't free on our plan anymore. Once upon a time it was.
DeleteI see, so is it still discounted? Otherwise I'd bypass Spark and get it directly.
DeleteThat’s a great repurposing of trolley. Could you get a heavy duty bbq cover to waterproof it on rainy days? I have seen collapsible trolleys supermarket ones that you push around shopping get to car boot and push trolley into boot wheels fold up. (Where too but who knows)
ReplyDeleteOMG Sharon! I have just been to Mitre 10 and bought......and BBQ Cover, and that was BEFORE you suggested it!!! Great minds think alike lol.
DeleteTwinning π
DeleteI love my trolly like yours we have 2 now with putting 2 households together but I am unsure if I'll declutter them cause have often use 2 for same job
ReplyDeleteLove the nite nite pic
ReplyDeleteI wondered what a trolly was. We call that a wagon. It will be very useful to use for going to crafts. It is nice that you are meeting some of the residents. Gigi
ReplyDeleteIt is great you're taking part in activities offered in your village. I think it is great that it offers everything from swimming to art.
