MOSAICS TODAY TO BUY BIRDS

I'm going to mosaics this morning, which isn't my normal day to be going.  But, we are going on a little trip out to Matangi to a mosaic supplier.

I would like to buy some mosaic bird kits.   I showed you a week or two ago what one of the mosaic ladies did with native birds on a Perspex panel.  I'm wanting to do something like that too.

I'm still not 100% sold on doing mosaics, but this one project is something I want to do.

ABOVE:  We were following this ute the other day, and Lacy took a photo of this dog living his best life.  He clearly loved being in the back of that ute.

ABOVE: And this little tart.  Yep, she's living her best life too.

Right, I'm off, catch ya later.

ABOVE:  Well, a nice number of ladies at mosaics today.   I sat and yakked.... lol.
Then 5 of us went out to Matangi to buy some supplies.

ABOVE: These were my purchases.  The birds and flowers will go on my perspex panel, and the other things? Dunno yet, but they are so PRETTY!  I just had to get some.

ABOVE: Stew you will be happy to know I snaffled you some avo's from 'S's tree.
I'm now getting my lunch...
AND I'm not going to WW tonight.  I got on the scales and they said "YOU ARE FULL OF SHIT, GET OFF!"
So I got off.
Until I'm back to where I was last week, I'm not going.  I don't want to show a gain on me WW record!  And no, my head is not in the sand, it's totally aware of what's going on.
I've also been drinking way more than usual, as I was getting dehydrated.  So yeah, a 'home gain' today.
Next week I'll do better.  It's still a balancing act, and always will be.

9.41 pm, and I'm watching Coronation Street.  It constantly amazes me how it has changed SO much over the past few years!  So many new characters and families, and relationships that do my head in.  And I'll leave it there.
Catch ya tomorrow.

The bird pieces are lovely. The one white background, with all the rest tan, would really bother me. But maybe you have a plan with more white tiles.

    1. LOL... the birds are on cardboard, tan and white cardboard! When I open them up they will all be on the same background.

That is so funny. I thought they were square tiles.

  5. I'm in the UK and always fascinated that you watch Coronation Street in NZ. I have recently stopped watching it as I find it quite draining with all the constant infidelities, whose baby is it, wrongful arrest storylines just to leave you on a cliffhanger, Then again, I've been watching it for years so have seen the same themes repeated several times. Whereabouts are you guys in the story?
