CRAFT GROUP, AND NOT MUCH ELSE

Well, another week rolls around, and I'm going to make the most of not having too much on my plate.

I'm going to potter around the house this morning, just doing housework and so on.

ABOVE: The tidied up linen cupboard.  I now have a bit more room in there for any more stuff I get.  NOT that I need any more 'stuff'!  Damn boring photos eh?  lol

I live to bore you.

Stew got out of a back shed the two, smaller trestle tables yesterday.  I'm hoping we can use them at the next few markets, out the 'side' of our gazebo.  I luckily already have enough tablecloths for all three we will be using.

12.10 pm, and I just arrived home from the Base.
I got my eyebrows re-done.

ABOVE:  I thought they would be the same as last time, but they are NOT.  And I hate them.
I shall be scrubbing them as often as possible to get rid of them.  There were a few dark blobs, which I've managed to scrub off already... but yeah, very disappointed.

ABOVE: Coco and I went for a lovely walk this afternoon, and as luck would have it... we got caught in a fierce downpour of rain.
It was WONDERFUL.  Coco loved it too, and has the 'zoomies' now, dashing around the house with a huge smile on her face.  So neat to see her so happy.

For those thinking my eyebrows don't look too bad....

ABOVE: That is what they looked like before I scrubbed them.  There were several black spots, they looked awful.  And see the area above my right eyebrow, there's a gap!  And the crooked left eyebrow?  Like WTF?    Just not good.

  1. Is that a double cupboard of shelving? That’s handy there one cupboard I find that never stays tidy tidy.
Ohhh that’s a shame they stuffed up the brows this time, a lot my friends “shop” around but once they find their technician they stay with that one.
I always ask girls I see who have really nice eyebrows where they go.

I go to a specialist eyebrow place and have mine dyed, not henna, I don’t like henna, personal choice. While on holidays in Port Douglas I lived dangerously and went to a girl up there (in all my years, I’ve never found accommodation that has strong enough light near a mirror to allow me to pluck), and the girl did an excellent job. 1. You are lucky to have something to pluck! I've not had to pluck mine since I was about 17! I plucked them to death and they never grew back, unlike me freakin' leg hair!

I agree, I would not be happy either. Was it the same girl?

I don't think they are bad at all. And as quick as they fade you'll be shed of them soon enough. Ky Girl

Yes, I see now that she did a sloppy job. Thankfully they fade quickly. And hopefully you'll find the right technician who does a lovely job. Ky Girl

  5. I don't have enough eyebrows to dye them or pluck them and I have never had the courage to get them professionally 'done'. I think going forward you should research a really good eyebrow specialist and look at their work online first.
