MORE BAKING

Well, this morning I'm trying a new Oatmeal and Raisin Recipe. Because we love them, and because freezing the dough means it's just so easy to whip some out of the freezer, and baking them for visitors.

I will still bake some just before Open Homes too.  I also have Scentsy wax burners on during Open Homes.... so the house will smell lovely.

After the baking, I'm going to start working on two Blue Braid Runners.

Cos, what else am I gunna do with my time?

12.25 pm:  And I've  had a busy morning.  Baking went well... made the same sort of cookies, using a slightly different recipe.  They came out much nicer, more tasty, better colour.
I've frozen a double batch in the freezer, for future cooking.

ABOVE: Then I whipped up this coffee table sized runner.  I've got two more in the pipeline.
I'll probably work on them this afternoon.
But for now, you know how it goes.  LUNCH lol.

ABOVE: Lunch is over, and so is making coffee table size Braid Runner #2 of the day.
And that is my 131st Braid Runner!
Think I'll make one more...  today.  😂😃😉

ABOVE:  Wow, three in one day!  That's not bad going if I say so myself.  It sure helps that they are shorter, so take a bit less time.

I now have 4 dedicated 'coffee table' sized Braid Runners.

9.28 pm:  Well Stew just pointed out that I'd not updater for a while.  Pfffff.   Like who else updates their blog several times a day anyway?
Probably only me is who.
So, his nibs arrived home just as I had sat down after sewing all day.
I'm sure he thinks I live in me armchair!
Anyway, we've been watching TV, having dinner and just chillin' out.
I'm staying up to watch Coronation Street, before heading off to bed.

Catch ya tomorrow.

Mmm cookies! We are living without a refrigerator for a few days. A part is coming tomorrow. After 4 fridges in 20 years I got smart and googled a repair. Let’s hope the $15 part does the trick!

  9. It's too bad I live halfway around the world from you. I would buy #131 runner in a minute. I'm partial to blues and greens.

  10. Watching anything good?
I did not mean to send that twice. Oops.
Need good show recommendations. Or movies.
