Oh bugger, damn and blast !!! Now Brylee has a bad headache and isn't feeling well... so I am stuck home again with friggin sick kids! And I'm not a nice mummy, I don't run around after them at all.... if they want a drink... they gotta get it .... I will dispense the medications, and keep them fed I suppose, but that's about it.
Didn't I say I have no patience? well, I wasn't kidding! Maybe I can get Mike to drag his sorry butt downstairs to watch them sometime today so I can escape for a while to the gym! I hope so anyway, I feel like I've been cooped up in the house for days already.
I'm over the chocolate biscuits.... another good day looms...
oh i hate spew too!!!
ReplyDeleteUgh, sick kids. And throw up? Hope everyone feels better soon!
ReplyDeleteicky sick kids poor old Chris
ReplyDeleteok spew is not good, BUT that poor child needs some TLC sooner rather then later.
ReplyDeleteI hope you get a little mushy when they are sick because I really think if theres ever a time when they need a HUGE cuddle and perhaps a couple of stories being read to them, this is is.
It probably sounds really odd to say this, but my childhood memories of when I was sick are all really lovely. I was allowed to drink lemonade (which was normally only for special occassions) If I could eat then jelly and ice-cream seemed to be allowed, and best of all, I was allowed to move my mattress into the lounge and park it in front of the telly while mother dearest waited on me hand and foot. lol
Oh you ogre you.... fancy not giving your kids.tlc...
ReplyDeleteOh I hate the spews.... yukkkkkkkkk
Poor kids - poor you!! Nothing worse than kids throwing up. Hope they are soon better!
ReplyDeleteYour blog always brightens my day. I always have a good laugh. I'm not laughing at your sick family, just the way you deal with them!! No sympathy - lol.
ReplyDeleteI hope they don't pass their germs on to you.
Enjoy the rest of your day.
"If your going to spew, spew in this"
ReplyDelete*hands chris a disposable dixie cup*
You also realize of course, they'll get all better and THEN you will get sick...
ReplyDeleteHahahah I think I feel more sorry for the kids than you, Chris H! I think perhaps the burger might've been your come uppance? ;-) There's a Burger Fuel down the road from my work, and I have nothing but praise for it, full of meat, salads, and a decent amount of relish and spreads. There is perhaps the possibility that they just make burgers better in Auckland [Hah! I wonder how many people will agree with me on that]
ReplyDeleteHope your kids get better soon!
I just thought - they'll all get better and then it will be ......
ReplyDeleteSCHOOL HOLIDAYS!!!!!!!!
And they'll be home for another TWO weeks. Oh damn, that's gotta hurt.
Poor you. I do feel for you
Sorry to hear you home with sick kids...I know what that is like and you get cabin fever.
ReplyDeleteHope everyone is better soon and you get out and about.
I can not handle spew. I've made a deal with the husband...he picks it up, I've got the poo covered. Hahaha.
ReplyDeleteI can handle spew, and other body excretions ,just can't handle phelgm. Hope both kids get better soon.
ReplyDeleteewww doens't sound like much fun at all dreading the day i have to deal with that. yuk!!

ReplyDeleteOh, thank you SO much for the tag! Haha!
ReplyDeleteI've been offline for days (bloody computers!!), so I have a huge backlog of work now.... it'll probably take me a few days to get to it, but I'll do it.
Ewww don't like kids being sick either... I want to hurl as well when that happens.
ReplyDeleteSounds like we are going to come down and see a fantastically painted house in August aye...

Omg... you are still at it.... I must say that your wallpaper must be coming off bloody easily!!! I had to steam mine off... friggin messy shit it was.. waste of my time coz we ended up plastering over it anyway!!!
ReplyDeleteHave probs with nathans room... when we took off the edging masking tape it took off the new paint underneath!! so we have to touch up heaps of places... ffs... not happy Jan!!! And by touching up I mean start with sanding and undercoat and then top coats again!!! it took it back to cement stuuf that the walls are made of... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
The Burger Fuel in Auckland used to be fab - so full that you could hardly eat it all. So either they have gone downhill or you got a dud one.
ReplyDeleteHey darling, glad to remind you of that fact about school hols.
ReplyDeleteBut hey if its any consolation, you get to use your sauna 24/7 every day of the year. I only get to use my pool 5 months out of 12 at the best. That is till I get my solar heating in. Aw shucks.
Hope the kids feel better soon! Lady Rose
ReplyDeleteWow I'm away from blogland for a few days and all heck breaks loose. Dear me I do hope everyone if feeling better soon. Be brave!
ReplyDeleteOh the poor kids and poor you having to look after them - a thankless job. You sound like you're doing great.
