Today our youngest Grandson turns 11.
ABOVE: We are so very proud of this little man. He has faced a big challenge in the past year, and has coped and adapted so well! He amazes us.
Happy Birthday Archer! We shall see you this evening to help celebrate your day. 😊💙🎂
This morning I have the second Glazing Company coming to do a quote on the double glazing.
Once he has been and gone, I am hopping on the bus, and getting a blood test done down at Rototuna.
I will also grab a couple of things from the supermarket for this evening, then come home.
Once I'm home I will post some photos of the new china cabinet.
ONWARD...
Slight change of plans. I'm now staying home until after the village morning tea... which I had forgotten was on today. Can't miss me catch up with new friends.
The glazing guy has been and gone. Should get his quote by the end of the week. I am glad we are getting three quotes, so we know, if we go ahead, we are paying the 'right' price.
I got an order for a special Scrappy Doll last night. So, rather than watch TV till bedtime, I made it.
ABOVE: The lady wanted one with a good deal of pink in it... as it's going to be a gift to her friend who's battling breast cancer. And it had to have a 'frazzled' face. I think I've covered all the requested specifics. I shall post it later on, while I'm out and about.
ABOVE: I've had my blood test (ouch!). Then over to Chartwell to post the doll. Now I'm waiting for the bus to take me home. So far an excellent day. Well... its now dinner time and we are at the kids home. I'm looking forward to birthday cake.
Sorry, I forgot the photos of the new china cabinet.
They WILL be up first thing tomorrow.
ABOVE: Archer, sharing the 'blow the candles out' moment with his little sister. She loved it.
ABOVE: Doing it again, cos why not?Only this time Lily got too close to the candles, and singed her hair! I think she got a real fright when Steve jumped up and pulled her away from them...
ABOVE: I think she thought she was in trouble, so she took herself off to the corner and...
ABOVE: She hid behind the curtain crying. Poor bubba. She came right eventually.
It was EXHAUSTING being there, watching those 3 kids run and jump and play and scream and laugh... and their FATHER is no better! He's just as exuberant and loud as they are.
We came home after a couple of hours, in time to just get a few jobs done, then settle down in front of the telly till bedtime.
Catch ya tomorrow.
Happy Birthday to Archer. Hope he has a great day. Enjoy your day Chris.

How often does the bus go by? For example, if you hop off for some groceries - do you have to wait long to catch the next one?
