Here's a little rant.
Not directed at anyone in particular, but if the shoe fits...
Why do some people like to play games with you?
Maybe they don't even realise what they are doing?
All I know is, I ask a simple question, and get the run around, no answer so often.
I have pretty much given up chasing for answers now days. I just accept they are 'playing games', enjoying toying with me, whatever it is.
I'm goddam over it.
If I asked the question, surely you realise I would have liked an answer?
As I said. Friggin well over it.
I'm going to start doing the same, and see how THEY like it.
We have news? Ain't gunna share. End of story.
Now that's off me ample chest... on with my day!
Not sure yet, either today or tomorrow we are going up to Auckland. Doing a favour for a friend, taking a little something up to her son.
Other than that, it's going to be a quiet weekend, the only one this month that we don't have a market on in fact.
Best make the most of it.
I had to.
1 pm and we are out and about. We've just done some shopping in Te Awamutu, and are now on our way to Lake Karapiro for a late lunch.
We are just totally enjoying this lovely spring day.
I will share some photos when we get home.
ABOVE: I dyed my hair this morning. I've now got some purple hair... and I don't care! It just makes me laugh. It's a HAPPY day.
ABOVE: We arrived in Te Awamutu around 11.30, and got to listen to some lovely young people singing... they were from a Hamilton Church group who'd just opened a new branch of their Church in Te Awamutu. Lovely people, very friendly.
ABOVE: I can't stress this enough!!! STEW wanted this tall Christmas Church.
ABOVE: We found this amazing gift shop in town, and well... went a little nuts.STEW spotted the tall Christmas Church and bought it. I got a few things too, of course.
ABOVE: As you can see, apart from the 'bag boy', it wasn't busy in Te Awamutu this morning.
We decided to head over to Lake Karapiro for lunch.
ABOVE: We both decided to have the 'Big Breakfast', at 1.30 pm. It was delicious, but far too much for me. Stew had a good 1/3rd of mine. He doesn't mind having to eat mine too. 😋😊
ABOVE: PODIUM, Lake Karapiro. We have NEVER had a disappointing meal here. Their food is just lovely, and so is the service. Today they were rushed off their feet, as there was a rowing regatta on.
Lots and lots of people there.
ABOVE: Bring on the summer sun! My legs are as white as Stew's, which is saying something.
ABOVE: There were lots of rowing races on... I'm not much of a fan of this sort of sport. But, each to their own.
ABOVE: Karapiro Dam with it's flood gates open. Very noisy, rushing water.
ABOVE: A couple of nice views from the other side of the dam from where all the rowing activity was.
ABOVE: Looking over towards the rowing regatta.
ABOVE: A cute wee sheep and her lamb.Totally DO NOT NEED any ornaments. But... well it was so cute!
ABOVE: The THREE houses we ended up buying today! Yep. THREE.
ABOVE: The large one came with lights wired in, and I put tea light candles in the smaller ones. They might just stay there year round, not just over Christmas time.
7.52 pm and plans are made for tomorrow, and today is winding down. Catch ya tomorrow, when we are off to Auckland.
