TYPICAL.

In our last few homes, I've planted a Passionfruit Vine.

Cos I love them so much.

And every time, just after they have their first fruit, we end up selling and moving on.

Here is no exception.

ABOVE: See?  This little vine is going to have fruit this season.  It's first fruit.

And we are selling up and moving on.

Maybe I WON'T plant another one at our next home!  😂😊😏

ABOVE:  Of all the fabrics I bought yesterday, this one is my favourite.  I have no idea what I shall do with it yet.  But, it's just adorable.

And I told it so.

YES.  I talk to me fabrics.

ABOVE: These four, (and a green one I got yesterday as well), will become Braid Runners eventually.

We heard back from our Estate Agent last night.  There is another VERY INTERESTED party.  So, it's looking hopeful?  Who knows.

Next Open Home is this Sunday at 2 pm.

But for now... I'm heading off to the sewing room to work on these:

ABOVE: Three more Red/Green Braid Runners.

1.45 pm.   Sorry I've been quiet all day (so far).   I have been sewing since I got outta bed.
I got one Braid Runner top done, and thought, hmmm... I might just continue with the other two that are cut out.

ABOVE:  Look at that!  All three are ready for quilting and binding.  Not a bad effort.

ABOVE:  I think this is the first time I've made a Braid Runner in this size.  It fits our coffee table.
So shorter, but wider.   I really like it.
But no, I won't be keeping it as it's not blue!

I am now going to take a break for lunch.

ABOVE:  Just in from Bex, our darling Miss Lily in her Ball Pitt.  Seems she loves it.  Great way to entertain a baby.

8.11 pm:  Well I spent a good deal of time this afternoon making binding, in readiness for binding those three runners.
Then Stew arrived home, so I downed 'tools' (read IRON) and went back to the lounge.

We are now just chilling out, watching th ee telly etc.
Looking forward to tomorrow, when we can both sleep in and just have a cruisy day.

If you have enough fabric that would make a lovely little summer dress for Lily. Audrey

  2. I really like that fabric too. Super cute!
Why not plant a vine at the new place? Is it complicated or expensive to plant? Might as well do it - it seems that you will stay at the new place.....

Well, that would figure. Your passionfruit will come and your house will sell.
I love that fabric too. What about pretty pillowcase for Lily and little girls? Kj

Love the floral fabric and I agree that Lily needs a dress made of it, maybe even one for her mom. Ky Girl

  9. Well I could say I love the materials and your braid runners or tell you I'm crossing fingers for a buyer but that darn cute Lily takes first place. A child full of joy! What a smile! She's a cuteness overload!
