FORTS

 So neat having Emily and Liam here overnight.

Emily and Keera get on so well...

ABOVE: The girls are turning the entire room into a fort.  Doesn't take much to amuse kids who have imagination.  Even the curtains got commandeered. 

Today Lacy and Keera are off shopping, then spending time on the farm where Lacy lives.

Stew and I will spend time with Emily and Liam before they are picked up by Amanda at lunchtime.

Then this afternoon it will be just Stew and I.  

Who knows what we shall get up to!

ABOVE: Out shopping with these two. Watching Liam eating a cheese burger.... might be still here tomorrow!

ABOVE:  I FINALLY found a blue duvet cover set!

It's only taken me a year or more.

ABOVE: Griffin is here to take his Dad to the rugby.

So, once Emily and Liam leave I'll be on my own.

BLISS.

I will spend some time tidying up the house.

ABOVE:  Emily helping her Grandad put the new cover on.

ABOVE:  there ya go.  Once the walls are painted white it will look even better.  I just have to make 'matching' runners for the drawers and bedside cabinets now.  I think white, with a little blue flower.

3.50 pm:  FINALLY!  All is silent in the house.

My ears are BLEEDING.  I swear to god I was thinking about masking tape for a certain child's mouth.  (Just Joking.... maybe)

I'm worn out.  We have not had a break from kids for weeks.  Next weekend... it will just be the two of us.

Griffin and Stew are still at the rugby.  I am fluffing around with runners and fabric and so on.

But it's time to just SIT and BE still for a while.

Well, it's the end of a very enjoyable day/weekend.  Time to settle down for an hour or two before bed.  Catch ya tomorrow.
