SATURDAY

,Sorry!  I went for a walk first thing this morning, it was just too nice a day not to.

Then when I got home I forgot I'd not done my post.

So... let's start the day...

Late yesterday afternoon I got a knock on the door, it was a delivery lady with this:

ABOVE:  A gorgeous flower arrangement from a very dear friend in Australia.  Thank you so much Michele C, you are just lovely.

This also made me cry, as it is exactly what my Mum would have done to cheer me up.

Mum was my staunchest supporter, and would certainly have sent me flowers by now!

But, I now have the next best thing... Mum's partner Ron and I talk OFTEN, and he's behind us 100%, just as my Mum would have been. 

AND...  I must not forget to pick up my new pants from the mall this afternoon!  Then I can show them to you.  They are so DIFFERENT!

11.47 am:  Nearly lunchtime... and OMGosh I'm hungry!

I think we are having frankfurters on buns... so yummy.

Sheesh! I almost forgot my new pants. At the base waiting for them now.

ABOVE:  I asked him to take a photo of me and my new pants.  Yeah.  Got photos of him, and two shit photos of me pants.

I ended up taking them myself:

I just love them, and they are so comfortable to wear!  Check out that border along the bottom.  So cool.

To all who thought I could have/should have shortened my pants myself... well while I'm sure I could have, I didn't want to.

They were horribly expensive and as I said before, I didn't want to stuff it up.

They are made with a super soft, stretchy fabric, and I have never been too confident doing stretch stitch.

Now... it's getting on in the evening, all is quiet and we are just watching TV till bedtime.
