Let the job winding down really begin.
Today I have ONE shift in the morning, then NOTHING until next Friday! Bliss.
I'm gunna get so much done around here in that time.
Last night, while Stew cooked dinner I went into the spare bedroom and put the first coat of paint on the walls.
ABOVE: Lacy kept texting me, so I sent her this photo saying "I'm painting... go away now". lol
She did. (have ya seen me in my glasses much? I usually only wear them to drive, watch TV, work on the computer and so on)
Anyway.... It took me about 2 hours to do the first coat.
ABOVE: This photo was taken last night... I'm dying to see what it looks like this morning. I need to get outta bed though, and its bloody cold as ... well... you know what.
I have a feeling it's going to need a second coat. If it does, I will get that done when I get home from work.
And that's me for now... I'm looking forward to getting this shift over with, it's a hard slog one.
ONWARD...
3.01 pm: And that's another one done and dusted... it's always a hard slog on Sundays. So much more to do, and less time to do it in. Glad that was my last Sunday!
Three more shifts to go... I'm rather excited *smiles*
My back was killing me when I got home.
Stew took me to Podium Cafe, out at Lake Karapiro for lunch. We ended up just having some chips and a piece of cake!
I simply wasn't hungry. I slept really badly last night, and even woke in the wee hours with a awful headache... so took some panadol.
Now, instead of painting, I'm going to take a nap. I'm so tired.
And it's a really wet, dark and gloomy day... perfect nap weather as far as I'm concerned.
It's done! The second coat of paint is on the spare bedroom walls.... now tomorrow I can put a few things in there.
And I'm now done for the day. It's been a good day really. I'm now going to just chill out for a couple of hours before going to bed. Catch ya tomorrow.
Looks really good, nice and clean/neutral.
