I'm thinking of going into Hamilton and doing the grocery shopping today.
I don't have anything else to do really, expect housework!
And I can do that anytime.
I'm feeling very frustrated over a certain situation, not sure how to handle it yet. I know that no matter what I say, or how I say it, shit is going to hit the fan. (referring to Big L)
God it's a pain in the butt having kids sometimes. And I'm not talking about the teenagers, THEY are just lovely. I really like teenagers. They can be so much fun.
Our two teenagers are lovely kids, sure they give us some annoying moments every now and then, but on a whole, they are turning out quite nice. Must be doing something right.
There is a new Tom Hanks movie just out here... "Sully". I can't wait to see it. I ♥LOVE♥ Tom Hank's movies. I watch them over and over again. He's drool-worthy in my eyes. ha ha ha!
Alright, enough yakkity yak, I'm outta here, stuff to do...
ONWARD...
Well... I have vacumed half the house and got washing on. It's a gloriously sunny day today, so nice after all the wind and rain!
Lacy isn't here, I've no idea where she is... and even if she came home last night.
I waited up until 2.30 am, wondering if she was coming home. She's probably wherever her car is... down the road somewhere?
So, time to go into town and get the groceries.
3.31 pm: And I got the groceries. Stew is going to gasp when I tell him how much I spent! But... we have to eat and be clean, so it costs.
I also visited Amanda, Liam and Keera. Had a 'ballsy' talk over a few issues, and now we move on. They are coming for dinner tomorrow night, and maybe Kelly and Co. are too.
I'm now knackered. And hungry. Hmmm... yoghurt me thinks.
So I had me some yoghurt... and now it's dinnertime. I'm cooking Chicken rissoles wrapped in bacon, mashed potatoes and our favourite Friday night accompaniments ... baked beans and spaghetti! Yum yum.
Well.... it's been a nice evening. Coronation Street, lovely dinner, two dogs on my lap for a nice change.
Off to bed, it's quite late.
I am also a huge Tom Hanks fan and the white hair really suits him!
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to seeing Sully soon too. I saw a meme on Facebook the other day that said something like, "One thing I'll never do is travel with Tom Hanks!" Castaway, Appolo 7, Captain Phillips, and now Sully, LOL.
ReplyDeleteI had people at work vote on their favorite Tom Hanks movie today...so far Forrest Gump is leading; my personal favorite is Apollo 13; although Big certainly ranks up there.
ReplyDeleteI love Forest Gump too, my favourite is Castaway. I have not seen BIG or Apollo 13! Are they any good?
DeleteYou'd probably really enjoy Big--it's about a young boy who wishes he could be grown-up, funny and a bit of a tear-jerker at the end; and Apollo 13 is quite suspenseful but has a guaranteed happy ending. (It's based on a true story of one of our moon flights.)
DeleteI'm with you on Tom Hanks, Chris. "Big" is one of my favourite movies.
DeleteMy husband knows all the words to Forrest Gump. We watch it every time it's on lol.
Deleteif you are worries as to here where abouts why not tex her.
ReplyDeleteas for the situation you are not looking forward to, why not just talk to it, how do you no the situation is not feeling horrible and unhappy about things as well maybe the situation is just feeling down and lost atm
Learn to spell ya dip shit. Apparently Lacy's phone has predictive text and it funckles up. What ever funckles means!
Deleteyou tell me not to swear lol so 'funckles' is a nice way of saying fu*kes up lol :p
DeleteI love Big the movie oh and Apollo 13 and Castaway.. and Forest Gump you get my drift, hope you all have a nice weekend we are wrapped up warm down our ways IM going to enjoy a day off have worked 7 out of the last 8 days and next week doing 6 days straight again...
ReplyDeleteFunkles is the coolest word! I am going to adopt that one 😀
ReplyDeletehaha shot Tracy :)
DeleteHope you have a good weekend.
ReplyDeleteWell since Lacy posted here I guess she's ok! Dang kids ;)
ReplyDeleteYeah Sorry! She came home at around 3 am!
DeleteWhenever Apollo 13 comes on tv here (in the USA), I always have to watch it to the end. To make sure they make it back. Haha. It's my favorite (actually the only one of Hanks' movies I really like) I think because I remember when it happened and everything in the movie feels so familiar.
ReplyDeleteAlthouh he's not the "star", he is awesome in Catch me if you can.
