MERRY CHRISTMAS TO EVERYONE
MAY YOU HAVE A WONDERFUL, HAPPY, SAFE CHRISTMAS.... SPENT WITH THOSE YOU LOVE.
I KNOW I AM GOING TO.
We will be starting the day with presents... rapidly followed by chocolates for BREAKFAST!
It's a family tradition, I give all my kids a box of chocolates for Christmas, and they all usually tuck in right away!
Stew and I have some too. NOT a healthy start to the day, but hell.... it's only Christmas once a year!
This year we have Lacy, Kelly, Russell, Steve and their families here for Christmas lunch.
Sadly Mike and Amanda cannot be here.
But, we will have an enjoyable day I'm sure.
ABOVE: our little puppies... I sent a photo of each puppy to their forever family yesterday. How cute are they!
Right.... back to get this day started. I know we have a very excited little girl about to wake up and dive into presents! The teenagers will probably have to be dragged out of bed, and Stew too no doubt!
ONWARD...
9.33 am: and I feel like we have been up for HOURS already.
Lacy, Keera, Brylee and Griffn had fun opening presents first thing this morning, then Steve and Bex arrived with the boys and more presents were unwrapped. Such fun!
I've taken a shit load of photos and some little videos too. I will probably not upload them for ages as it's all GO! GO! GO! HERE all day long.
We are expecting Kelly and family and Russell and family a bit later on for Christmas lunch.
THEN much later on today we have Jacqui, Marty and their two children coming to stay the night.
Lacy and Keera are leaving for Tauranga after lunch for a few days too. So we will have somewhere for our visitors to sleep! *smiles*
OH AND we have one of the puppies family coming to see her later on this afternoon too!
ABOVE: one photo I've got time to post! Liam with his firetruck... the noise is going to drive his family NUTS! ha ha ha! But he will love it I'm sure.
9.34 pm: and we have had the most lovely day!
Lots of food, fantastic company and just all round a happy, happy day.
We have said night night to all the family who visited and now we are enjoying the company of our friends Jacqui, Marty and their children for the night.
End of Day: the nicest Christmas ever. Looking forward to a lovely day tomorrow too.
