Coco spent several hours last night, panting away and finally at 3.45 our first puppy was born... literally in my lap, just like the first time...
A boy.
Then, unlike last time, we waited for the next one for over an hour... Which was...
Another boy.
Then a girl....
And another girl...
AND another girl...
AND ANOTHER girl...
AND FINALLY... ANOTHER GIRL!!!
PHOTOS:
So..... we have ***7*** new puppies. All safely delivered over a period of 4 hours. Stew and I got to watch the sun come up... WELCOME TO OUR WORLD Minty, Chilli, Poppy, Dill, Pepper, Saffron and Sage.
Coco was asleep on my lap on the couch when she started to deliver her first puppy, exactly where she was last time! EPIC!
Later on today I will be sewing some more. And keeping an eagle eye on Coco!
ONWARD...
Bless her little heart lots of hugs for Coco xxx

ReplyDeleteOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH yay puppies how cute do you know I nearly put 4am birth time instead of 4pm but was being polite cause a 4am start that was not cutey! Spice pups I like that.
ReplyDeleteWow - they seem so much darker in colouring this time.
ReplyDeleteHow exciting!! I am so glad it went well. I am looking forward to lots more photos.
ReplyDeleteWell done coco
ReplyDeleteOhhh, I SO want a puppy this time around BUT living out in the country is an awful place for a dog that doesn't shed as their hair gets EXTRA knotted. I have my wee scruff who is nightmare to keep detangled as she is outside scampering through the paddocks almost every day when I shift the cows or am gardening in the orchard. I don't know if I mentioned but I am putting my place on the market and hoping to move into town and am sooo tempted to have a wee companion for jazz but not sure if its ideal at the moment as the place may take months to sell. ummmmm, Number seven looks adorable with the markings around her eyes.
ReplyDeleteWell done little Coco in the safe arrival of your little babies. Also great work by the "Midwife".
ReplyDeleteCheers Southgirl.

ReplyDeleteRecently my daughter needed some help with "being clogged up" and I remembered the old fashioned remedy of a tablespoon of castor oil. She mixed it in some fruit juice and it did the trick and she has been right since. Cheers Glenys
