I got bored, so moved some furniture again:
I didn't do much, just put the dining table on an angle and did the same with the green couch...
AND it makes such a difference to the room! Hard to show on a photo really.. but believe me it does! I think I get just as much of a thrill moving furniture around as I do shopping! I'M WEIRD.
That's about it for now... back later no doubt....
We went out to 'post' a fishing rod to Whangarei... and get a few more groceries.. bloody hell... where does it all go??? I bought some evil chocolate too... I JUST COULDN'T WALK PAST IT anymore without getting some! I am hopeless, I know.
AMANDA: my room looks lovely... Pffffft! AND it's MY POTTERY! Stand in line...
UMMMM.... SANDRA.... perhaps I FORGOT to mention how much chocolate I bought!
WHICH little bit can I have now???? HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!!!!I. AM. EVIL....EDIT: I bought them cos I could.. and I sooo wanted some.... but I am actually going to put them in the 'Christmas' cupboard and have NONE. I wanted some.. till I got them home... and now I can CHOOSE not to have any...or some if I want. I DON'T WANT. Does that make sense to anyone....???
OK, this is funny! ....This morning Teddy came inside... and he kept GROWLING and pacing up and down the family room...GROWLING all the time! It was so weird. I had no idea what he was on about...
Last night Stew and I went through the kids soft toys, cos we wanted to give some to the Samoan Children affected by the Tsunami... and I was going to add a little cushion too, but Stew said "NO, put it on the couch" ... so we did.
It would appear Teddy does not like that cushion on his couch! 'Cos after much growling, he jumped up on the couch and attacked that cushion and dragged it onto the floor and left it there! I see... he doesn't like that new cushion on HIS couch! Too bad, he has to get used to it! His nose is right out of joint!
He really is the most delightful little dog.. I love him so much.
End of Day: another day done and dusted... just tomorrow and the weekend to get through now... then I can go back to being bored and lonely! lol! nite nite.
I am the same, I love to moce stuff around (bit difficult in a tiny house but still!) and painting, I change the wall colours often as I can!!!!! XXCathy
ReplyDeleteI love moving furniture.....Have a happy day and only 4 days left till school begins or 3 if you don't count today :-)
ReplyDeleteCute little cplate. I REALLY like your new hair color. Makes your eyes just pop. My daughter has the same hair-eye combination.
ReplyDeleteSometimes just the moving of the furniture is helpful. It can make moving around the table to sit at meals easier, etc.
ReplyDeletePS. CUTE little plate!!
Getting in early as I'm off to a conference today. have a great day!!
ReplyDeleteI also love moving furniture around actually I was always shift and never knew where the furniture would be from one day to next. havnt got the same omph these days but guess I'll get bored with way it is and have to have a wee move around soon.

ReplyDeleteNah it looks dumb, change it back.
ReplyDeleteStop giving away my pottery I tell ya... Its all mine :P
I'm not much of a furniture mover, but I do like to paint. I probably need to do a little bit of both right now just for come change.
ReplyDeleteLove the plate.
ReplyDeleteHmmm...would love to be able to move stuff, however you know how small my lil house is :-) not much scope for moving anything. Arrrhhh...but we are looking for land to build a house on...now I will then have a whole house to move about.

ReplyDeleteoooo chocolate! actually, a 'Christmas cupboard' is a damn good idea.... thanks. think i'll start mine now, inna place where no one else will find it - in the corner with the broom!
ReplyDeleteDogs really are a best friend. They have so much personality, I don't know what I would do without Theo dog. Enjoy your last days of holidays! xxx
ReplyDeleteWhat is it about moving furniture that is so fun / fulfilling? I guess making something look updated is always a good thing.
ReplyDeleteCute plate too!
Laughing at Teddy's antic's!
ReplyDeleteThe Creme Brulee chocolate is divine!!!
Nice selection of chocolate you have there. Be good and hide it in the back of the cupboard... I have 4 blocks in mine... :-)
ReplyDeleteAren't little dogs funny things? My friend Butterfly Kissez's mum has two little terrors and some of the stories she tells of their personalities! Wonderful!
Well, keep up the good work, moving stuff around. Change is as good as a holiday!
xxx
That Teddy doesn't like the cushion reminded me of my long ago Golden Retriver didn't like my stuffed bunnies my Granny had made and given to me. They had doll clothes and were the size of a baby. He would get insanely jealous if I ever held them...And sometimes to get his goose I would talk to them. Dogs are so territorial!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful and intelligent dog teddy, he must make you laugh, another thing Chris, how the hell can you keep moving furniture on your own without doing your back in. BE CAREFUL thats's how I ended up with a herniated disc in my spine which is causing sciatica as well.
ReplyDeleteMaggie Magpie
I wonder if Teddie has been talking to a naughty black lab in my house. Mocha has just killed the very awsome door stop I brought, it was a Lion.. its now a mess and blob of things needing to go into the ribbish bin.. dogs who would have them.
ReplyDeleteYummmmm - chocolate :-)
ReplyDeleteGood on you for not eating any of it ;-)
You moved furniture! You are my kind of girl. I love changing things up every now and then! It looks great.
ReplyDeletexo
I love the cute little dish!
ReplyDeleteAnd that chocolate ... I'm getting hungry!! Lol. I was tossing up whether to go and do the groceries tonight (snow expected here tomorrow to lowish levels) - but I don't think I would be safe in the supermarket right now having seen your chocolate pics.
Teddy is so cute! Go on you for not eating the chocolate, I so don't have a same will power as you
ReplyDeleteawwwwww yummy choccie...I want some !!!
ReplyDeleteAren't animals funny....my cat gets that way if I lay something over the back of the lounge he likes to sleep on !!
Ohh the chocolate looks good. I can leave chocolate untouched for months, but as soon as I open the darn thing, I have to eat the whole block!!lol
ReplyDeleteMy mother loves to move furniture also. Everytime we visit, things have been rearrange. Me - I don't get the whole thrill of that but . . . to each his/her own!
ReplyDeleteTeddy's reaction to the cushion made me laugh!
teddy keeps me laughing i love some chocolate yummmmm glad it is in your cupboard and not mine... eventually i would choose one lol
ReplyDeleteLove the new pic of you. Teddy is a real cutie!! If I started moving furniture around, I would then realize I'm missing something and would end up spending a fortune when everything was fine and dandy the way it was.
ReplyDeleteI love the look that it gives when you move furniture around.
