Weight Watchers is just not working for me here in Auckland, I miss my Leader Sandra from Palmy, it's just not the same without her. So, I will give this a try instead.
Next up for today... getting a numb bum.... ??? I'm going to the Hairdressers... getting a cut:
But maybe not like this! LOL... and :I'm just NOT a brunette... so I'm going blonde-ish again. And I'm thinking of having a totally different cut too... maybe some layers and a fringe? Not sure about the fringe yet.... but will see what the Hairdresser thinks. I want a change.
That will no doubt take hours... it always does! Me butt always ends up numb. Ever had 'pins and needles' DOWN THERE??? I have! It's kinky. Bet ya didn't need to know that eh? LOL
Well... it took 3.5 hours at the hairdressers, and even then I left with wet hair so I would not be late picking up the kids from school! But... I'm happy with it... I had masses cut off the front, lots of layering and blonde put back in:
I feel NORMAL again! Like ME! LOL.
After picking up the kids I went over to Howick and picked up my new Sewing Machine!!!! So excited, and I hope to be able to have a look at it later on tonight.... no time tomorrow.
End of day: an exciting day.... love the new hairdo. Might get a fringe next time, still not sure on that. nite nite.
My butt has been numb before, but never had the pins and needles sensation 'down there', lol.
ReplyDeleteMake sure you do pics of your new do!
Yup, Know what you mean about the kinky P & n's LOL.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see a pic of your new hair do!
Take care. x
I can't wait to see the cut and colour. I agree the leader you get at WW makes all the difference.
ReplyDeleteJust to let you know its friggn minus 2 degrees at the moment, that would numb your bum!!!!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely day gettering pampered!!!
Oh and blondes have more fun dont ya know!!!
yeah my butt goes numb too and once had pins and needles down there, weird alright!! Hope the hair goes well, look forward to seeing the end result.
ReplyDeleteWish a free, medically supervised weightloss program was offered here in the U.S. Having a partner, especially someone you love, always helps too!
ReplyDeleteKnow about the pins and needles and about sweating in every fold of extra skin once I get under the heaters as well...not nice. But worth it!
I'm sure your hair will look lovely no matter what color you decide on.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day re inventing yourself. :) Well done on making the committment together to lose weight. I wish you both all the best on this venture too :)
ReplyDeletegood luck with the doc's visit. I'm trying something new for weight loss as well - totally over WW's
ReplyDeleteI think a fringe would really suit you with some layers.....
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! I LOVED hearing your voice again down below. I'm going to say, "Hello Darling!" like you to my husband when he gets home. That'll give him a thrill! Then he'll tell me I'm a freak. I'll have to correct him and say, "No, I'm a Freaking American." He'll be confused and I'll just be laughing to myself. LOL!
ReplyDeleteHow'd your hair turn out???
Chris, can't wait to see your new look - make sure you show us pics.
ReplyDelete=)
you are a crack up! Can't wait to see the new hair do! You look good blonde.
ReplyDeleteLove the dog pitchas.
Guess what chick?? I been kick out of my flat and getting a house of my own ... just over the back fence of you!! lol ... well not quite ... on the other side of Totara Park but still closer :D
ReplyDeletethanks, your article is very informative.
ReplyDeleteWow, what a beach babe! It looks very flattering and youthful...!
ReplyDeleteYour hair looks lovely Chris. Blonde really does suit you. And I will follow with interest how it goes with the new Dr program. I think that because you and Stew are doing it together it will help with the stick-ability :)
ReplyDeleteGo you, getting the new sewing machine. I have been following your quilt making with keen interest. It has sparked a real interest in me and I am thinking about making matching quilt - comforters for the boys room...Will let you know if I do :) I may need advice LOL
I love the hair :)
ReplyDeleteLove the new you!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh, good grief, I thought "numb bum" was some kind of sadistic liposuction! LOL. Just a hairdo!! Joke is on me.
ReplyDeleteYou look *great* though!
You need to get your butt numbed to get a hair cut? You guys have weird customs over there....:D
ReplyDeleteYour hair looks awesome! Isn't it crazy that a new color can make us feel so good? I'm like you, when I am blond, I feel like I look like I'ms supposed to look. I hate when I am so lazy and let it grow out to my "natural" mousy brown.
ReplyDeleteYou look great, and the cut is very flattering on you!
Number one love the video about the beach. Hair looks lovely. How lucky to get the free weight loss program, all the best for a huge success. Keep warm.
ReplyDeleteI was just tinking that you definitely look more like you then I read the next bit in your post. Love the look. (My turn tomorrow).
ReplyDeleteI want a Dr like yours but I'm holding my physio to stetting up something like Biggest Loser here in Whitianga. It will cost but I don't think she will charge as much as WW and it will be a heap more effective for me.
Hope you are having another great day.
My friend has a fancy sewing machine like this. She LOVES it. I hope you do too!
ReplyDeletewow you look like the old aunty, lol,
ReplyDeleteMy gosh girl! I had lots of catching up to do on your blog! I'm still catching up. LOL.
ReplyDeleteYour hair looks GREAT! I feel great as a blonde also. I tried going brunette once and everyone hated it. I hated it too. Blondes my color.
