Stew is off to work this morning, the company he works for is rolling out some major structural changes and he has to be there to hear about them. It COULD mean some changes for us too... but certainly not bad ones.
Teddy is a box of birds this morning, so he's fine.... what a relief.
KAREN: just so ya know, I am certainly not on a diet right now! I am eating as healthily as I can, I know that good nutrition is essential to a speedy recovery. I am looking forward to eating lots of mussles as opposed to steak (I am so over red meat).... I am on iron supplements (have been for about 9 months) and will have to continue to take them for a few more months yet to get my iron levels up. At the moment my iron levels are seriously depleted, but that's 'normal' for me.
I am on a trial drug (Rivaroxaban), which is in clinical trials right now, which means I did not have to go on heparin injections and warfrin... so I am very lucky.
Right ... that's it for now, better get this published....
Last year (august) I had pre-cancerous condition of cervix, so had a wee operation to have areas of me cervix chopped off... it took a full 12 days later before I hemmoraghed... so.......I am kinda waiting with trepidation to see if that happens again! You know, things happen in 3's.... I've had two so far with this operation.....
Stew's home from work.. no major changes in his job... it just gets bigger! We are still moving to Auckland..... eventally! good things happen to those who wait... I am almost DONE waiting ya hear! onward... need to move me legs a bit, been sitting for two hours reading blogs.....
We FINALLY popped out and got the exercise pen for Teddy, it's attatched to his crate so now he has lots of room to move around while he's confined overnight.
Stew also got me lots of mussels, they are marinating right now with red onions.... yummy and so good for their iron content. Whatever works for you eh? lol
LUNCH IS SERVED:
YUM YUM....
End of Day: a good one it has been! Weight Watchers went well, lost 1.5 kilos since my last visit. Happy with that.
NSV: I am finally managing to eat 'normally' again, even if the portions are still a bit too small..... at least it's food and it's staying down! nite nite.
Great to hear you sounding so well and glad everything is coming right for you. Mind you I still think we should get a picture of the new 'fanny'!!! (as she ducks for cover!) Take care Love Z xx
ReplyDeleteOh.My.Gosh.

You are so lucky to be alive.
I'm so glad you are feeling better!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ReplyDeleteIve missed a few posts sorry...
LOL ... so glad you're thrilled, i'd hate to think of the repercussions if you weren't :-)
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear everything is looking good, and also that Teddy is feeling good. I always feel a little guilty after getting my pets "fixed" but I know it's the right thing to do.
ReplyDeleteLoved the picture!
I'm glad you like your fanny,(had a good laugh at that) but forgive me for not wanting to picture the moment!
ReplyDeleteLOL at looking at your fanny. I'm so glad you are happy with it. Can't wait to hear when you get to try it out. Hahahaha.
ReplyDeleteYou are sounding better each day. I hope you are back to your normal self very soon.

Okay so I am guessing "fanny" to you is different than "fanny" to us. :)
ReplyDeleteAn American friend of mine just popped in for a cuppa. I'm trying to get her interested in blogging, so I was showing her around blogland...
ReplyDeleteShe looks at your comment about your fanny and the convo goes like this..
Her ... 'Ohhh, she just had a butt lift !'
Me ... 'Ummmm' and then I cracked up
Her ... "What's so funny about a butt lift?'
Me ... running for the loo because I'm peeing myself as I'm laughing so hard
Got myself under control enough to explain to her what part of you had been 'tightened'.
:-)
I'm glad you are home and doing well....haven't been around to the blogs much this week. New fanny.....I'm jealous.
ReplyDeleteLooks like I have alot to catch up on yet again! The WonderWife was keeping me updated before our internet went out so I have alot of reading to do!
ReplyDeleteHi Chris, I haven't been by here for a while and had no idea you were having surgery, so sorry to hear about all the dramas, but very glad to see that things are looking better!
ReplyDeleteTake care :-))
Glad you are sodiering on and that you are happy with how your "fanny" looks... haha..
ReplyDeleteWell done on the loss too!
Oh and yes... I must say Stew is a bit of a spunk....
ReplyDeleteI'm not on a diet right now either. I should be, but there was just something about a double Quarter Pounder meal that I couldn't resist last night. Shame on me. ;)
ReplyDeleteWAIT >>>
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't your bottom?
It was MORE embarrassing than that?
*oh my*
Well, I did kinda wonder what having large babies had to do with butt liposuction. I didn't think anyone could get fat there. My goodness I'm sorry you had to go through such a horible ordeal. I think I'd be faithfully on the Weight Watchers too.
I'm so sorry! (oh, poor Chris)
So great to hear things are doing well. I can't wait to you are back 100% and taking on the world again.
ReplyDeleteThe flat Stanley's are missed
