And you can guess why! Thought I'd be nice to Stew and not keep him awake half the night. It was not a comfy night.
Anyway, onward! I am going to the Hospice Shop today, really looking forward to it to. Grownups to talk to!!! And I will be outta my house doing something different, all good.
Either Steve or Mike is looking after the kids today, not sure yet which one.. but I've got both of them lined up so it is covered.
WEIGH IN DAY: And..... I LOST 1 kilo ....I was hoping for more!!! I mean, I've hardly eaten anything for days, I have been throwing up even !! And a piddly 1 kg gone.... oh well, it is a loss so I should not complain.
I reckon you didn't lose much weight BECAUSE you haven't been eating much and have been throwing up. Whatever you DO eat, your body is clinging onto it for dear life in order to retain some form of nourishment.
ReplyDeleteAnd weight lost during a time of sickness can't really be considered safe, and permanent. While it's good you're keeping track, I'd only take the numbers seriously once you're healthy and back into the regular routine again.
hey
ReplyDeleteglad you are feeling better. have a great day
1 kilo is HUGE women, sick or not sick.......congrats!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to hear how the Hospice shop goes.
HEY!! WELL DONE on the 1kg loss this week!!!!
ReplyDeleteSo pleased the CD works and dont forget when you reach 10% loss and goal weight then it will allow you to print off a certificate.
I hope you have a good day at the hospice shop!
Hugs to ya
A loss is a loss, enjoy your day at the Hospice shop.
ReplyDelete2.2 pounds! Once again, you are the leader!~
ReplyDeleteBummer about the night on the couch..but nice of you to do so...
ReplyDeleteHope you are back at the exercise thing real soon... and feeling 100% even sooner...

ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing you soon..
ReplyDeleteBig Boy aka... "THE CAPTAIN"

ReplyDeleteyour post today made me smile. sounds like it was just what you needed. and right back atcha with the comment ... yes slow and steady is the way to go :p congrats on the loss!!
ReplyDeleteWell done on the loss - 1 kilo is great.
ReplyDeleteThe Hospice visit sounds great!
ReplyDeleteWill you be doing different things on different days or are you happy to stay at the Hospice shop?
It was kinda weird not having you update for a whole 4 hours......hahaha
You do have a bright bubbly character. It comes through in your blog.
ReplyDeleteAnd one kilo is still a loss. It's better than gaining one kilo!
The loss was a great one!!
ReplyDeleteWas pleased to hear your day at the Hospice shop went well and most important that you enjoyed it. You think your house is a mess - we are in a disaster zone! Getting back to normal and got a nice new computer with internet access!!
This weekend we are to H Bay - nephew's engagement party, so will catch you the following Sat.
Congrats on the loss! I'm so happy to be off of the couch now that Mom's gone. You're way too nice to do it on purpose!
ReplyDeleteChris,
ReplyDeleteI was imperonated by a troll with to much time on his hands. Good job on the weight loss.
Jeff
Congrats on the loss - take it run with it! Feel better real soon!
ReplyDeleteAwesome loss! We always hope for a bit more though don't we... Our bodies do crazy things when we're not well.
ReplyDeleteGood on you for volunteering your time, it's a great thing to do. I remember that aching feet feeling too well, a hot bath will sort you out.
What Marshmallow said!
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed your first stint of volunteering. :) Try hopping from one foot to the other instead of standing still. LOL.
1kg. Man that's great. You no complain! And you get better. WHat a sweetie you are to sleep on the couch for Stewie's benefit. He must be a gem. You seem kinda smitten with him. Or is it that its the least you can do for him putting up with you LOL (I'm kidding!). Good for you for helping out at the shop. I know what you mean about standing - its tough - we don't realise that we don't stand for hours on end naturally. I alwasy wonder how checkout ladies cope being on their feet all day long. Get better soon!
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a great time volunteering.
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks for your kind words on my blog!
1 KG is great. Nice that the kids helped you out. Both of mine are at home vacationing. Do wish they'd pick up a bit. Must keep dreaming.
ReplyDeleteYes I do wish I could attend your party. You never know maybe one day I'll find myself in your neighborhood.
Sounds like you're finally on the road to recovery. Have a good one, keep on smiling.
