SIX MONTHS, and I do believe MOST things are done in our new forever home.
Forever? Forever ever? You just NEVER KNOW.
I am super happy with the gardens, even though my original plan was not to do pots 'n' rocks, it was a damn good idea going forward. No maintenance, and they look awesome.
ABOVE: I really love how the backyard looks now.
I didn't even need the all weather power cord protector, as the wire from the pump was plenty long enough to reach the power point.
If I ever need an all weather power protector, I have one. That's a bonus.
ABOVE: This area looks nicer now, and I'm not even that bothered by the SKY dish anymore. I will probably just leave it 'exposed', like there's nothing wrong with it. 😌😏
ABOVE: There's Stew, working on getting my design wall made yesterday afternoon.
ABOVE: And there we have it, already in use.
Stew is going to see if he can get castors for the bottom of that trestle, so it's easy to move in and out. Fingers crossed on that one.
Can you believe it's already DECEMBER!!!! Where the hell has this year gone? I swear it's flown by. We have certainly fitted A LOT into this year.
Selling/buying/moving house.
Visiting Australia 3 times... for sad reasons. RIP my dear sister Lorraine.
And of course, lots of happiness thrown in as well.
Now, today? I am going to get the housework done, then make a start on wrapping Christmas presents.
After lunch I shall go to Craft Group. I might just take ... me mouth! lol
Catch ya later.
10.30 am. Lacy just visited to 'touch base'... seems I'm BASE. 😂😅😏

Where did you put waterproof power thing so we all know the safe place and one of us could let you know when you're looking for it lol
ReplyDeleteTotally agree, great place for the fountain. Very central location. In my opinion, the fact that it blends with the fence is a big bonus.
ReplyDeleteAlso it is just amazing what you have done to make garage so spacious. It is very pleasant looking.

If you still have the receipt for the waterproof power thingy you could get your money back, they do returns at Mitre 10. What do you mean your forever home and then 'you never know'... surely you are not thinking of moving again! I can imagine you perhaps moving within the village though if a larger property becomes vacant.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely I think you will move again. Better community, no community, another town because kids move, something. Probably within 5 years. That’s not a negative. I think Lynda might move too. I think you are both open to possibilities and do not feel you have to stay where you are if there is a better answer.

At this point in time, we have no plans on moving again. BUT you should never say NEVER right? You don't know what can happen in the future.
DeleteVickie... yes, we absolutely plan to move but we still like to be near the grandkids. Finding the place/area to move to is the biggest thing, especially as we are getting older so our needs will be different.
DeleteThe gardens look splendid!!! Congrats on all of the hard work you, Stew and the others have done. I hope next weekend you both sit back and enjoy it all. Maybe have a little dinner party out of doors. A bit of bubbly. Put your feet up for a bit and give yourself a big pat on the back. Ky Girl
