The weather forecast is looking favourable today. No mention of rain, and a high of 17 degrees. That's not exactly warm, but it's a damn sight better than 0!
I shall be dressing warm, and taking a lighter top for if it gets warm towards the middle of the day.
I have decided not to take Coco after thinking it would be lovely for her to mix and mingle. Setting up, and running the stall is stressful enough, and taking her might be just too much. Sad really, as I know she would love it so much.
I'll just have to spoil her with loves when we get home.
It's now time to get off here, put some face on and get on the road.
Catch ya later...

ABOVE: The eyebrows are starting to fade out! I thought they might last longer than three weeks to be honest. Looks like I will be getting them redone every 4-5 weeks. Is that 'normal' for henna dyed eyebrows?
As for customers, they are thin on the ground. Hoping it picks up soon, though its nice to be back at a market again.
1.52 pm: We are home slightly earlier than normal as it was such a slow day, just about everyone packed up early.
We had an average day overall, and are just thankful it didn't rain. It certainly looked like it wanted to a few times.
We have now unpacked the car and are taking a moment to relax.
Plans for this afternoon? We are going to visit the kids for a while, which we are looking forward to.
Then it will be home/dinner/relax.
And of course, that stump became the perfect place to mount the kid's slide.
Lily loves it.
How rude! I had no intention of trying to actually slide down it... I just wanted to pose on it. Pfffffft. Bloody man, I'm not THAT BIG, but yes, it probably would have buckled with me on it.
OH, like the other new scarf I bought? I love it just as much as the white/doggy one.
It's now 6 pm, and we are going to sort out something for dinner. Then settle down for a nice evening in.
Catch ya tomorrow.
You've got used to eyebrows lol! Get them done again for sure. Have no idea how long they're supposed to last but they do make a difference.
ReplyDeletePerhaps research other ways to get eyebrows that last longer. Henna does not last long - remember that's what they use on Indian brides when they get married so not designed to last.
ReplyDeleteCan you do the eyebrows yourself?
ReplyDeleteI'd probably end up looking like a clown!
DeleteCould Lacey do them. Her makeup always looks good.
DeleteNot a fan of Henna myself, don’t like the colour. I prefer an eyebrow specialist and get them dyed. Marie, Melbourne
ReplyDeleteMy eyebrows don't last long either and thats just washing your face and stuff
ReplyDeleteThe stall looks fabulous. Wish I could shop there. I hope business picked up for you.
ReplyDeleteMy Mum has pretty much no eyebrows so she is planning to get them tattooed on my a cosmetic tattooist. We know people who have had them done that way and they look amazing and so natural.
ReplyDeleteSorry it was a slow day. I thought for sure the market would be good today as we are closer to xmas than not..
ReplyDeleteKy Girl
Been hideous wind here today and I been thinking about your market shame not many around. Have a fun time with the kids.
ReplyDeleteI would kill for 17 all week we’ve been 27/28/29/32 Monday Wednesday next week 36/38! We are officially 3.5 weeks from summer eeek.
ReplyDeleteMate I bought
Rimmel WONDER’FULL BROW
Tiny tiny brush coats what hair you have and then you can buy really neat brow brush stroke brushes they are fabulous I love them. I do have dark nice brows but I love the colour it gives and fullness.
Forgot to add its like a mini mini mascara wand. I was wanting dying to fill in thinning patches this product I was really pleased, but the feather strike brow brush which looks like hair strokes is a game changer.
ReplyDeleteThat scarf is perfect. It matches your eyes and will look beautiful with your denim dress. Kj
ReplyDeleteLilly is so adorable , Peta
ReplyDeleteI had mine tattooed many years ago and was very pleased. They lasted I believe, years. But since you don’t like needles, not for you I think. Now that I am an older widow I just go without. Gigi
ReplyDeleteThe scarves are a great way to jazz up your look. Super simple way to dress it up a notch. I like the colors. Lily is darling!
ReplyDeleteLook into getting brows microbladed. I had mine done years ago and they are still pretty good
ReplyDeleteFrom Anne - palmy
ReplyDeleteThat's a fun way to do the slide! The one on my little swing set is almost too small for the kids. Might have to upgrade next summer.
