THE WEDDING

Well... the wedding 'ceremony'  took place yesterday.
Today we  have the 'reception' here.  We are praying for nice weather, but it's supposed to be showers.  Hopefully they will be few and far between.

Steve and Bex wanted a small, intimate wedding, so the reception is going to be immediate family and a few of their close friends.

Keeping it low key was their wish.

So... here's a few (lol) photos from yesterday, not in any particular order:

Clearly, there will be even MORE photos taken today!  But I will show the best of them tomorrow.

At 9.45 am this morning I will go down to the motel and pick up the newly weds and then we will prepare for our luncheon guests.

ONWARD...

7.37 pm :  Well it has to be said... we have been mad busy, flat out serving up food, enjoying our guests and generally having a bloody good time.... ALL DAY LONG!

I am exhausted, as are a few others here.  It will hopefully be an early to bed night, tonight.
I slept (yeah right)... on the sofa in the lounge last night so I was with the little boys... didn't really sleep much at all!  Gave Archer a bottle at 3.40 am... and Dante woke up at 7 am.  So... LONG DAY.

I can't believe how many meals we have laid out on our amazing kitchen bench.. but it's been said by heaps how awesome our bench is!  *smiles*

Time to sign off for the day, here's a couple more photos:

  15. Thanks for sharing the photos Chris :) I love that Steve and Bex chose a simple wedding - so many weddings today are all about the "wedding" and not about the actual marriage. Wonderful.
