FINGERS CROSSED

Once the kids leave for school, I'm going to head off to Hamilton.

I will probably kill an hour or two wandering around a mall ... then head off to the Auction.

Stew and our Estate Agent are going to meet me there.

I will probably be a mess of nerves by then.

WISH US LUCK!

ONWARD...

WE MISSED OUT ON BOTH HOUSES WE HAD OUR EYE ON
 FEELING TOTALLY DEJECTED RIGHT NOW.

But we will keep looking...and hopefully find something SOON
.. or we could be living under a bridge by end of month!

6.45 pm:   and I'm home... and looking at more houses on the net.  Spreading the search out a bit... even looking at PLASTER houses now~!
Shaking me head.

My back is killing me for some reason, not even low down like 'normal'.  Probably from being tense all day?

OH well... another day tomorrow.  Can't go to Hamilton to look either.
Tallulah gets speyed (de-sexed) tomorrow, so I have to be here.

Friday I will be back  looking at houses I expect.

I was going to cook dinner, but now that I look at the time (6.47 pm) it might just be takeaways.  *sigh*

Scrap the takeaways idea.  I realised I had pork out, so I have a sweet 'n' sour pork stir fry cooking.. to be accompanied by home made garlic bread... cos it's comfort food.  And I feel like comfort food.

P.S.:  it's official.  Throwing up Garlic Bread sucks BIG TIME.
Bloody cough from hell doing it's thing on me again.  IKKK.

  4. All the best for today from Andy in the UK! I found your blog by accident as I googled something and a photo of your husband came up and I thought I recognised him! (I guess not as we're the other side of the world from each other!!!!) I guess I connect with you as I'm a yo-yo dieter & Coronation Street fan :) Fingers crossed for the auction today!

  26. well that totally sux. logged on hoping to read you had had success at the auction, but seems it wasn't to be. I'm sure you will find something though, and now you are all sold and cashed up your in a good position to make offers on anything (other then auctions).

  31. Feeling gutted for you tonight .... BUT .... on the positive side, maybe your dream house is about to come on to the market, and you didn't win the auctions today for that very reason! (Fingers crossed!)

  32. Oh bugger!! Had hoped to come and read some good news. But like Paula says, hopefully it means that your dream home will come on the market real soon!! *hugs*

  33. Don't rush into a place just because you are desperate. It's unlikely you'd get into a house by the end of the month anyway so you might need to look into a short term rental of some kind then make a wise decision, not a forced/rushed decision.

Sorry today didn't go your way :(

  34. I tend to agree with Lynda, while you no doubt will only want one move, not rushing and renting could still be the answer, then you can take your time and buy the perfect home for you.

  35. Ah that sucks so much! Did they sell before auction or just too dear?
Please take your time and don't rush into a purchase!

    1. The prices just ramped up and up! Auctions tend to do that unfortunately. We were LEAD to believe we had the right sort of money for either house, but I think we were conned, just to get more people at the auction. We will be trying to get a house that isn't going to auction now. I don't want to go through that again.
