TODAY WILL BE THE DAY....

Bex is really frustrated and upset.
Her labour has come and gone over the past almost TWO days!
Today we go to hospital and will ... all going well... have a baby.

Sorry to everyone who expected her to deliver yesterday, she did her best.  *smiles*

My sister came through her operation OK as far as I know.  I did hear from my Mum late last night and all sounded good there.  Thank god.
Lorraine, rest well and recover fast. {{{HUGS}}}

So... I'm off to get ready, we shall be leaving fairly soon.  Stew is home to take care of Dante for us.... Dante is loving that!   Granddad all to himself.

Stew said they are going to the mall shopping.  Lucky boys.

ONWARD...

We will be home soon. .... with a new family member. Photos and details soon!

Right.  We went to the hospital at 9am for an induction.   But... Before they could administer any drugs she went into labour within half an hour of us getting there ... and after 6 hours of full on labour and NO DRUGS, Bex delivered a perfect, delightful, darling wee man.

His birth date/time is:
5/5/2015, time: 15.15 pm.   so all the 5's!
He weighed 8 pound 8 ounces.  Heaps bigger than we expected.

Now photos:

INTRODUCING:  Archer Cliff Murray Harvey

ABOVE: he has big feet like his Daddy.

ABOVE: Dante meeting his baby brother.  He was a bit shy of him.

ABOVE:  Ready to go home at 4 hours old.  Wrapped in my special baby shawl, made for my first baby 36 years ago, by my grandmother.  So, rather special moment for me.

ABOVE: Dante helping Steve carry Archer up to their bedroom for the first time.
Cute as.

ABOVE:  Dante giving Archer his first gift.  A train.  Dante loves trains, so Archer had to get his own one too.

ABOVE: lots of fair hair.  There might just be a bit of a ginger tinge to it too.  *smiles*.  Like his Daddy.

That's all for now!  I'm sure there will be more tomorrow... as you can imagine.

I'm  going to sign off for the day now... we are all rather tired and ... hungry!

End of Day:  what a special day.  So very happy and proud of Bex, she did an amazing job, such a trooper.  So proud.
nite nite
