GOT THE MAN HOME...

Stew took 4 days off work, so his Easter Break is going to last a bit longer than everyone who is heading back to work today.  The kids are on school holidays too.  So, Stew can spend some time with them.

The Crafty Needle's Closing Down sale starts today.  I'm torn.  I don't really need heaps more fabric right now, but ... it's 50% off everything!

Maybe I will HAVE to go.  *sigh*

A bargain is a bargain after all.

Stew and the kids can go to the mall for a wander around while I'm there.

I was having a look on Facebook last night and saw this:

ABOVE:  It made me laugh.
In light of it having been Easter... I have to confess to eating chocolate when I shouldn't have had any at all.  *sigh*
One's resolve melted.  Just like the chocolate... down my throat.

But... today is another day.

And I have fabric to buy.

So, it's gotta be a GOOD day!

Bex is now 36.4 days along.  Not long to go!
I am doing a 'Guess the Day, Guess the Weight' GIVEAWAY contest.
So.  How about you start leaving your guesses in a comment, and I shall note them all down.  You have until one week before he's due,  so April 24th will be the cut off day for guesses. (his due date is May 1st)
Prize?  How about a set of 6 Mug Rugs?  I like giving them away!

ONWARD...

Well... I went to the sale and got the following:

ABOVE:  Some heat resistant stuff for the dining table.
Tallulah and Coco found it interesting.

ABOVE:  16 pieces of fabric.  Most are 1 metre long, a few are only half a metre.
When I arrived there was about 5 other ladies in the shop.  When I left it was packed and there was a queue at the counter.  Ngaire (shop owere) will be pleased.
Bearing in mind the sale doesn't end until end of month, I might go back again!  lol

ABOVE:  I forgot to show you this darling little purse I got yesterday.  It's for the little bit of make up I keep in me handbag.  It's so cute.

Right ... time to bath the dogs before grooming them.  *sigh*... this is going to take me hours and hours to do, but I've put it off long enough.

I'm going great guns on my jobs today.  Tallulah is fully cleaned and groomed, and Coco has had her bath and is drying off before I groom her properly.

While waiting  for her to dry, I've cleaned the bathroom and laundry and washed the floors.

Thankfully, Stew is cooking dinner tonight.  Sheesh, that's several nights off cooking for me.  As my back is now killing me, it's just as well ... cos I still have to groom Coco, and that will murder me back some more.

End of Day:  well I finally got both dogs groomed, and saved myself $160.  But OMG it's a shit job.
They are now gorgeous, I'm all freshly showered and sweaky clean again too.
Nothing like smelling like wet dog... ikkk.
nite nite

    1. Dante was 3 weeks early and weighed 7 p 3oz. BUT she went early most likely due to the circumstances at the time (her Dad's death).
