POCKETS! TIRED AND A STAR

Today's post is brought to you via a 'forward post'.
I'm in bed... sleeping in one hopes.

Stew and Steve are getting up fairly early (for a Sunday) to watch the All Blacks play against Scotland, in Murrayfield, Scotland.  The game kicked off at 6 am New Zealand time, but the guys are waiting till 9 to watch it, 6 am was a bit too early me thinks.  *smiles*

As the All Blacks have won 27 out of 29 games against Scotland, and equaled twice, something tells me they might just win again!

Seriously though, I don't give a shit!
I just want to sleep in.

ABOVE:  A certain young man found POCKETS.  And he liked them.

ABOVE:  Bex with a bit of make up on!  Doesn't happen very often... she, Steve and Dante had been out yesterday getting 'Family Photos' taken at the Playcentre.

ABOVE:  A tired Tallulah last night, curled up on the couch with her rabbit.

ABOVE: Last night's pork belly... it was so delicious!  I can't believe it took me 56 years to 'find' out what an amazing cut of meat it is.
I highly recommend it.

ABOVE:  I wanted a bigger pattern for a Mariner's Star, so I drew this one, might not be finished with it yet... but then again, I don't want it to be too complicated either.  There will be borders and 'N', 'S', 'E' and 'W' on it too.

I'm going to make it into a wall hanging for the 'new' dining room ... once we get the Archgola and side blinds...  early next year.

Right, that's all for now... I'll catch ya later, once I get outta bed.

ONWARD...

So, I woke at around 6 am, tossed and turned till 9 and then gave up.  Up and hung out the washing, the day is fine after yesterday's stormy weather.

Slept on my Mariner's Star pattern.  Now hate it.
Typical.

I'm going to do this:

ABOVE:  not a very clear picture, but ya get the drift.  I'm NOT going to try doing it on Freezer Paper, I'm going to do it using Applique technique.  I'm not too bad at that!
Stuff trying to muddle my way through it any other way.

I want it to look gorgeous, not a mess!

Today I will try drawing it out, so I've got the pattern.  That might take a while.

THE FENCE:

I was determined to STOP Coco from getting over the moveable metal fence and into areas where I didn't want her.  She's an escape artist, a very clever dog.

But I think this will stop her:

 ABOVE:  We have posts in...

ABOVE:  They got to this point, and realised that their palings were going UP... and Tallulah  could get under it... so they had to take ALL the palings OFF and start again.
Oops.

ABOVE:  Dante mowing the lawn with the little mower I got from Hospice for 50c.

ABOVE:  Taaa Daaa... done.  And Coco has already tried to jump up and climb over it... and she can't.  I bet she's pissed off.   *smiles*
I'm freakin happy.

NO COMMENTS TODAY?  WTF... not feeling any love today.  *sniff*  A 'HI' would be nice!

OK... thanks for the comments!  I like getting comments, most bloggers do.

End of Day:  so happy about the fence, it's something I've wanted there for oh... about 2 years.  Next one will be on the other side of the house... just have to ask the guys to do it again!
nite nite
