LOOKING AT FRIDGES TODAY

Today I am going to track down a fridge I saw on the net last night.  I want a new, full fridge in our kitchen, instead of a fridge/freezer.

We are always running out of fridge room, it's probably something most families suffer from.

Half the reason I don't buy too many fresh vegetables is because I simply can't fit them into the fridge.

So, fingers crossed I do find one that will fit in our 'gap'.

Today.... I might just do some sewing.  I've not done any in a few days, maybe a week now!

Also, I'm going to do my very best to stay on track today with my eating.  I know it is entirely in MY HANDS, and it's a mind over matter thing.
It is just so tiring when it's a constant battle with myself.
I know what I want to do, how I want to feel... but something always keeps derailing me.
Well... that would be ME eh?

*smiles*   Maybe one day my motivation will really kick in again?

Miracles do happen.

ONWARD...

I went to Warehouse Stationary at 10 am.  I stood in a queue for about an hour, then when I told them what I wanted, they said it would be about an hour and a half to wait, as they had so many people waiting.

Like I didn't know that?  After standing in a line for an hour?

So, I said I would go and have an early lunch and then pick them up at 12.30 pm.

Well... I got there at 12.30 and they were 'almost' ready.  So I waited another 10 minutes, collected them and came home.

No point getting grumpy about it, there was nothing I could do about it after all.

ABOVE:  the new toy patterns, enlarged from the book.  Can't wait to start making some of them.

I have let my fingers do the 'walking' re the new fridge and will probably get a Fisher & Paykel 451L Vertical Fridge for the kitchen.

FROGGY:  Bex and Steve do not have a full size fridge or freezer, so they have bought ours.  They will need it when they move in a couple/few months.

I spent the latter part of this afternoon trimming the patterns and seperating them into the individual toys.
I'm going to make a little frog first.  Might start on him tonight.

Dinner tonight:  Chinese takeaways.  Might not be having much myself as my tummy is giving me lots of crap this week.  Literally.

SHARON:  Sheesh girl, I hope you are OK?  Bouncing down the stairs does not sound like fun at all.... come to think of it, I've done that a few times myself.  Hurts!

End of Day:  an enjoyable evening, a quick visit to my Aunt and Uncle up the road, then knitting till bedtime.
nite nite

  2. For some reason this comment got 'eaten' so I'm publishing it for you FROGGY:

Froggy has left a new comment on your post "LOOKING AT FRIDGES TODAY":

Soon your family will be halved... is it worth spending money on a bigger fridge that you won't necessarily need soon?

  3. Hope the new fridge works well! All the ones available here seem to be made in Mexico. :/

  4. Ah, now I see why you went there - that photo wasn't up when I commented. Where is your freezer… your big one? Is it close by so it won't be a pain getting out frozen food? I see Froggie's point about your family being smaller soon - would you need a large fridge then? How exciting for Steve and Bex to get their own place.

  7. Chris, that is a beautiful looking fridge, but do you think it is big enough, there are only Two in my home at the moment and our fridge is sometimes full, especially if there us a special occasion, birthdays, Christmas etc.
