WOW ITS A FINE DAY

After our long hot summer with virtually no rain... it rained heavily yesterday and most of last night.... at least it isn't cold yet.

It is looking more and more likely that once we are in Auckland we will eventually have to rent a house up there... bugger, damn and blast! The last thing I want is to double move our household furniture etc. Maybe we can just move the bare minimum and leave the bulk here in the house so it looks good for sale. Yep, thinking ahead....

As Stew has pointed out, this situation is no one's 'fault', we are just caught up in the downturn in the market. But it doesn't stop me feeling right royally pissed off annoyed by it all... this could drag on for months and months. I hate not being settled. Shit shit shit. No amount of bad words can adequately express how annoyed and frustrated I am feeling.

Right, now that I have had me rant for the day...(for now!)... today:

- dunno! Not a lot needs doing right now... wait and see I suppose.

OH YEAH.. it's been a most riveting morning! I have done this:

AND I got out the most evil amazing machine ever ....

and did some bloody vacuming! I am so very good at VACUMING. Someone give me an award NOW.

COFFEE BEAN: ahhh you are a nutter... I would have liked an award in the form of a Sapphire and diamond ring.... but I will take whatever I can get ! lol

It STOPPED being a nice fine day...it is PISSING down out there... and blowing into my deck and wetting my washing! NOT happy!
End of Day: well it's been quiet... and wet. Tonight's job is to strip the polish off the kitchen floor and re-do it... joy!
NSV: loving Watties Very Special soup range, they be low in points too me thinks. nite nite.

  3. I think you should upload some more photos of Steve if you have some time on your hands today! *wink wink* ;)

Sorry to hear about the problems with your house selling and maybe the possible rent situation. I hope there will be a resolution to it all by someone just falling in love with your place and putting the cash on the table! Hang in there... HUGS Amanda xox

  9. I'm glad things are finally moving re your move to Auckland. I know it's not what you wanted but it's a start. If you can't sell have you thought about renting your place out until the market improves?

I was in town the other day and remembered it's been year since I meet you in Sydney - wow time just bloody flies dosen't it.

  13. Thank you for the Birthday Wishes- the Weight Watchers soup is a life saver. That's what I had for my Birthday supper. In order to give me some points for Drinkies after. LOL ;)))))) BTW

Having that for supper again tonight with some meat balls ( chicken) only 4 points for the meat balls. Soup doesn't count.

  15. Fell like I've read your blog before but not sure. Popped over based on your blog title. I am a Diet Coke junkie - drink the stuff like it's liquid gold.

Will be back later to read some past entries.

I live in Arizona, we get practically no rain at all except during monsoon season. Then it rains, floods and dries up again.

I hate vacuuming, it's my second least favorite thing to do. I hate dusting even more.

  17. Strip the polish of the kitchen floor! Now that brings back memories. Haven't heard of anyone doing that in years. Mom always did that once a year, now with the new floors it is no longer a necessity. Sorry to hear that moving troubles continue. I know its difficult, but try and think positive.

It rain cats and dogs here as well yesterday. On top of that its gone back to being close to freezing.

Hope you have a great day.

  18. Maybe someone in Auckland is trying to sell and move where you are and you could *trade*. Do they have matchmaking realtors out there like that ?? Moving house a dozen times and keeping everything clean is NOT my idea of a good time.

  19. I hate to vaccuum! Looks like a great machine you got there. What I need to do is clean these carpets now.
Glad you are getting on with you move for now!
We're still waiting on our spring up here. I want some sun with no rain!!
